Forté on first down

    This is exactly why I hate box statistics with no context.

    Since the Bills game, every game was a testament to stupidity, running an outside runner inside the guards, frustrating him and then resorting to the pass every down because you have been running a nonsense offense and are playing from behind

    Chan Gailey just sucks.

    This last game, I saw something different. I don't know if it was because Geno started and Chan likes him, or maybe Chan just pulled his own head out of his ass, but the runs were directed outside the tackles and there were actual designed passes to Forte that didn't include the word "screen".

    And they were effective plays, at least until Shitzpatrick came back into the game.

    This last game is not something that you need to sweat.

    But I agree with the sentiment that Powell needs more touches.

    He'd be valuable on this team, they don't have a bruiser to pound the ball. Look at what Blount has done (except against the Browns). The Jets need someone like him between the tackles. Forte isn't that guy and neither is Powell, they are better on the edge or catching passes.
