Every time I rewatch it, it looks more and more ridiculous.

And then Favre got to punk us out again years later and was celebrated for it by many.

He and Klecko should go in together.

    Klecko should be in HOF

Gastineau, no - he wasn’t near the player Klecko was.

Gastineau should be in the HOF. But he wasn't as good as Klecko ... who also should be in the HOF.

Are you kidding me? Cmon they were different players, but equally good at what they did best. No one could block either.

His stupidity ruined his career, I still enjoy when Jackie Slater popped him

No. Joe Klecko definitely does, but not him. A self centered asshole who quit on his teammates

Total agreement. I would just go a bit further and add, fuck Brett Favre and Michael Strahan.

    Oh nvm. You said that.

We'll never get respect in the league till we win some trophies.

But boy-o-boy were the Sack Exchange a blast to witness... ;)

Mark is second all time behind Reggie White with .83 sacks per game. He was unstoppable as a pass rusher. The combination of size and speed was incredible. He was Bruce Smith before Bruce Smith. I don’t think his reputation as an asshole has anything to do with not getting in. He just didn’t play long enough. Retired with waaaay too much gas left in the tank. He lost his focus because of that annoying girlfriend. I think she had him convinced that he was going to be the next action hero in Hollywood.
