The first real step is to pad the outside of the helmets, but it looks “goofy” so the NFL won’t do it simply for aesthetic reasons, and then feed us bullshit about how they’re trying to “protect the players”. Damn when you said goofy I was expecting it to literally be a bed pillow duck taped around the helmet. But this is sleek enough if it helps even 10% I can't begin to understand why every single youth league in the country and maybe all the way up through high school doesn't wear this.
