Speaking of Gholston ... what the hell are the Bears thinking??? Don't they have any game films out there?
Everything is back to normal and right with the world. He did add pressure for us on the edge, and help win a couple games, but still made me feel dirty inside cheering for him. I say we need to go after Manny Lawson or Matt Roth, both have 3-4 experience and could get those 5-10 sacks we won't get with Taylor this year. I don't see any other 3-4 pass rushers available, and they shouldn't be costly.
meh, who cares. He performed well in the first Pats game, and the Steelers game, and otherwise was mediocre. Doesn't bother me either way.
I remain confused as to why anybody thinks that Manny Lawson could approach 10 sacks next season. If we're going to throw money at Lawson, we may as well have just brought Gholston back. As for Taylor? Listening to some Miami fans claim that Matt Moore will lead the Dolphins past the Jets in week 6 because Taylor told him the secrets to the Jets defense will make this whole thing worth it.
