The Favre trade was dumb. He will be 40 this time next year. Does he really look worth keeping around?

Brett Favre throwing left-handed would be better than Pennington.

Can people wait until this season is over to address next season's concerns?

The Giants have beaten Seattle, Bengals, St. Louis BEFORE firing their coach, San Fran, and the Redskins early in the season before things settled. Hell, Cleveland isn't even that good and they beat the Giants. So how come they get a pass for beating poor teams?

This place (and some of the posters here) really is a joke after a loss.

    OMG the sky is falling!!!!

    DOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

    Get a fucking grip already.

Next year Brett will be better. He won't be on Madden.

He looked like that to a lot of people after the San Diego game also. Then he followed it up with 6 TDs against the Cardinals.

    i think this was different.

Favre looked physically beat up after the Charger game (ankle and all)....but after the Raider game..he looked physically and MENTALLY beat up....he really showed his age...it was a little disheartening.

I hope he rebounds with a stellar performance this weekend.

Yeah he said it was one of the tougher losses he could remember. He always has taken losing very hard.

They get a pass because BESIDES the fact that they won the super bowl last year(big thing to put aside) they actually HAVE beaten the teams they have had to beat while we have NOT. Washington has looked good this year and they are 5-1 with their only loss to a pretty good cleveland team too. They have taken care of business while we have not.

Yes, if the Jets were 5-1 and defending Super Bowl Champs, I guess I could live with beating lesser teams too.

I don't want to see either go but how would it hurt us right now if we didn't have either?

4th in the division next year.

the other 3 are young and emerging, while the Jets will be taking a step back starting over.

Henne, Edwards, and Brady are better than anyone that the Jets have to spend time grooming, unless they find a Matt Ryan or Flacco - but the last time they found a franchise QB that can put the game on his shoulders and win it was Namath.

Henne's barely been on the field, I wouldn't say he's better than Ratliff or Clemens just yet. We have nothing to base that on.
