Not a burden to me at all. I don`t have access to gamebooks. I have memory. Wether it was a hundred times or 25 times, I remember Martin coming up short a lot more than what I would`ve liked. I`m talking about those crucial moments, not every 3rd. down. And I didn`t say Martin was the only one. I said the "Jets", but I do recall Martin doing it quite a bit while he was here. How this went from Martin not being one of my favorite jersey`s to buy, to his career here(which ended without a ring for him), is quite funny. He was a good player. One of the better RBs the league has had. Gale Sayers? Barry Sanders? Emmitt Smith? Walter Payton? Eric Dickerson? Jim Brown? Not in my opinion but career stats would prove me wrong on that I guess. Especially if one goes by yards gained alone. To each his own I suppose.

Martin is not a top tier Hall of Fame RB. I can break down the HOF backs into either three or four tiers. No matter how I do it, I cannot place him in the bottom or top tier.

As for your claim that he stunk on 3rd-and-3 (which was quite specific for whatever reason), I cannot buy it. I never said, "What the hell is wrong with the guy. The line opens up holes for him and this fucker dances around and never gets a first down in a key spot."

I don't have a #24 jersey, but if I did I'd cover revis on the back with SAMPLE in honor of Johnny Sample of the Super Bowl team or NAMATH X 2.

I probably shouldn't have bought those Reynaud jerseys.

Revis may go down as the most hated Jet of all time.
I say for the first home game against the Pats we have a designated area to burn all things Revis.

True. Don't get me wrong Martin was one of the best in his time in the league, but was a borderline HOF. If we wasn't such a class act he wouldn't be in Canton.

This was my point about "worthy Jets jerseys" to purchase. Curtis is a great man in general and one of the better RBs in the league statistically speaking. Worthy enough to spend $250+ on a Jets jersey? In my opinion, no. Not for me anyway. That doesn`t mean it isn`t worthy enough for someone else. Buying a player jersey these days just isn`t worth it honestly. They aren`t cheap unless you get a replica from Modells or Sears or wherever. I was just trying to keep my list of what I think are good jerseys to buy & wear on the low end. Otherwise the list would include every single Jets player that ever played here. Why people want to argue over opinions is funny.

Is there anyone who would make a new back plate?
