Keeping this thread going because I can't recall an argument on TGG that was ever so one-sided in terms of being right. Why should the Jets debilitate themselves when no other team has done so in similar incidents?
god, family and the green bay packers. its funny that so many people that have absolutely nothing to do with the new york jets have let fanaticism go to such an extent that they say jets first last and always. god forbid the jets dont win a game because they take a stance on something. that would just be absurd, especially when nobody else has.

the jets are just as hypocritical as the other nfl teams when it comes to dwis by players. they refuse to punish players for drunk driving even though they pretend to take drunk driving seriously - the truth is revealed by their actions - no punishment.
you are all missing the point the Francesa Rule under that rule, ALL those other clubs are "classy organizations" and, thus under the FR, they don't have to suspend offenders in any way regardless of their offense. The Jets, under the FR are a "classless organization" and thus are required to suspend any players immediately even if their offense turns out to be only "tinted windows" for LIFE before any decisions by the criminal justice system, the commissioner or the NFLPA are actually made
