I think the point is that there are a number of people who are outraged at the fact that the Jets are actually allowing him to play as if there's some unwritten rule that says they shouldn't. There is no such unwritten rule, and no history of other teams taking that course of action. People need to direct their anger at the league for not taking a tougher stance, not the Jets.
He should play because it gives the Jets the best chance to win. It has nothing to do with giving a fuck or not that he got a DUI. It is 2 separate issues.

He should only get suspended if he is found guilty and then he will be by the league....I would almost be willing to bet he won't. If it's his first offense he probably has at least two "get out of jail free" cards if it's like any other state in the union. So basically just STFU.
