Miami is not in playoff contention. They have to end the season winning 5 in a row vs a very tough jets team, vs a very tough new england team, vs a very tough bills team (thats right the bills are tough i said it), vs a very tough browns team, and the lions. Oh and they also need the Jets and Patriots to BOTH finish their season winning 1 of their last 4 games on top of that. In other words I have a better chance @ making the active roster than Miami does of making the playoffs. Not to mention Miami has one of the worst conference records of any team in the AFC which pretty much means theyll get shit on with any tiebreakers. Of course tie breakers mean nothing if the Ravens/Steelers and Jets/Pats dont both suffer some monumental collapses
I'm coming back from college and I work at a grocery store. I tried talking to the manager about now working that day but she insisted I should. I'll work but whatever, I won't miss any more games. ESPECIALLY playoff games. never.
I'm pretty sure teams are only allowed 5 prime time games a season, so the Jets can't be flexed into any Sunday night games the rest of the season.
The Jets are good this year at 4:00 est. They usually never win in this slot but I think they're 2-0 this year so far.
Why no more primetime games? They lost one of them by one point due to a conservative offense. If they actually took chances they would have won the damn thing. Give me more primetime games, this team is built for them. Can't wait for Monday, another primetime game where the Jets can be showcased as a team that is likeable and kicks your ass.
I like Sunday afternoon games. The thought of having to stay up to midnight and go to work the next day is not appealing. Plus it makes Sunday suck.
This is complete nonsense. You have no shot at the ative roster; your not even on the practice squad.
I'm thinking this too. Dallas is a draw even if their record is bad, and they are playing better. Plus that's a heated rivalry.
I wonder how many times this needs to be posted before people will stop asking if the game will be flexed.
4PM is the best if you're going to the game. Arrive at the stadium at 11AM, tailgate til about 3:30ish, watch the game. Game ends at 7PM or so, postgame tailgate for another hour or two, get home around 11 or so. Good times. I can't imagine getting to the stadium by 8AM for a 1:00 game (although I've probably done it).
I get there about 10 or 11 for a 1 pm game, to me that's early to be out there drinking and whatnot but I do it. By the time you're going home at 6 or 7 it feels like it's midnight, especially in the winter. I prefer late games and I love night games.
