The argument for Fitz as MVP is in the leadership category. It's going to be hard to beat out Cam Newton there. The Jets are a 9-7 team that would have gone 7-9 with Geno or 5-11 with Petty at QB this year. If they finish 11-5 it will be because of the weak schedule and the fact that Fitzpatrick added to the offense instead of subtracting from it. The cool thing is that if they make the playoffs they'll actually be nearly healthy entering the tournament. Lots of the AFC playoff teams are really banged up right now. I might make the Jets out as the favorite to get to the Super Bowl based on that fact alone. Pats are missing a bunch of players on offense. Bengals are missing Dalton at QB. Broncos have Osweiler up and down in his first extended play and a beat up offensive line and receiving corps. Texans are playing a cast of thousands at QB. The Chiefs are the only team that is relatively healthy right now and they're winning games with smoke and mirrors with a rushing attack by platoon and nobody standing out as likely to be able to run well against the Jets.
