The only record that matters is s.b. wins and jwn holds that record. Seeing as it is highly unlikely that fitz hoists the vlt it will be another failed season
yes, although its really meaningless.... not that fitz hasnt played well, but its just a different league now... even compared to 2002. the AVERAGE qb in the nfl today has a 90 rating. in 2000 only 6 guys topped a 90 qb rating. last year 10 players threw fo 30+ TDs. in 2000 only 2 guys reached that mark. its a passing league. attempts are up over 20% from 2000. volume stats especially dont mean much when ranking historically
Are either of them comparable to Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker? I think not. Johnson was at the end of his career with Fitz. I asked you a question in reference to WR's and you named me two running backs.
Looks like Fats Tits is trolling the Jets forum for material. http://nypost.com/2015/12/02/ryan-fitzpatricks-having-one-of-the-best-seasons-for-a-jets-qb/
why wouldn't you want our qb to throw more TD's than any previous jets qb? seems like a silly position for a jets fan to take.
Because I don't want a stopgap having the record. But like I said if he breaks it he breaks it, of course I'm not opposed to more touchdowns being thrown since they normally help our team win games.
You can label him a stopgap, but if Fitz leads us to the playoffs, he may very well be our starter for the foreseeable future.
Agreed. If anything, it just goes to show us how crappy our past QB's have been. My stance has always been to avoid the rookie QBs and pick up a serviceable journeyman that won't make mistakes. We have one now.
