If it's Geno in there he's gonna have to run from the shotgun anyway.

Geno can at least take snaps from under center, which I don't think Fitz can do right now.

Not rolling a qb out there who can't grip the ball or even hand it off. Fitzy might as well get the surgery and come back in a few weeks because this doesn't seem like something he can just will through.

Let Geno start, he didn't look to terrible in relief duty. Plus he's the best option we got if Fitzy can't go. The jags aren't just some cake walk opponents, they've played teams close this year and bortles is improving. I don't want to roll Fitz out there hurt, and watch the jags put 9 in the box and pummel ivory in our backfield because we can't throw the ball.

I don't want to see Fitz out there fumbling the ball because he can't grip it. Petty isn't ready yet. It's Geno by default.

We are playing roulette at QB..great

Anyone else think the Jags are no longer a gimme?

Maybe Mac finds a decent backup

Methinks Fitz has learned his lesson...that is if can hold the fooball

Er....maybe we deflate it a little so he can grasp it better? lol

So you became a fan of a team because they started winning? Sounds like a bunch of fans we know around the Boson area.

They weren't exactly winning when I became a fan. I guess the Jets fan in me enjoyed their first round exits from the playoffs a bit too much.

Tell me more about how Fitz is a top 3 QB, I want to hear how he's out performing Brady some more. Total QBR... Now I know you're just a fucking idiot...

Fitz with 1 arm is better than Geno with 2. Hope he finds a way.

Would rather Fitz sit out this game and heal properly... If we can't beat the Jaguars without Fitz, QB isn't our only issue.

Fitz might try to play he knows he's a fringe starter. If Geno steps in and does well and we win Bowles isn't going to switch back to him.

All of the fitz talk could be posturing to try and get a steal in a deal for a new qb. What he says after 4 pm will be the real deal.

Thats why he put off the surgery right away. If he can continue playing at the level he has he is probably getting a multiyear deal with decent guarantee money.
If he loses his job again he is latching on somewhere for vet min.

Not at all. Actually like the extra motivation, as long as he isn't hurting the team.
