I don't mind him really, it's kind of cool what he does at games. To be honest one year he didn't come to the games and it sucked. Some drunk slut in a pink jets jersey was doing it for half of the year. Actually that doesn't sound too bad, but anyway...I have to agree it is extremely frustrating to not have Keller and Hill back for this game.
Keller is one of the worst starting TE's in the NFL when healthy. Fireman Ed could probably do a better job blocking. I hate Keller and looking forward to seeing his lame ass off the team next season. Who drafts this garbage?????
Here's a more troubling thought: Why would someone follow Fireman Ed on Twitter? Does he just post the J-e-t-s chant every hour?
This is going to bother me. Seriously I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight knowing that Firemen Ed is distressed with the team....
Fireman Ed's Twitter is one of the single greatest things in the world of unintentional comedy. His spelling is so horribly egregious, his reactions so unbelievably exaggerated .... as he says... POW! POW!
I always check out our upcoming opponents board (most active one) before each game to get the pulse of the fans. Not here to troll or talk smack. Just observe and make an occasional comment. Thanks for asking.
I peek at opponents boards also, but only after games...never before. And only if we win. Is that shallow?
You might be a little over the top here but people beggin for Keller to come back might have some inflated hopes for him. Ive been very disappointed in Keller since we drafted him and look forward to his departure as well.
I'll take a page from a favorite Seinfeld episode when George is hanging out with the guys from the Rangers: Well hey there ya bastard! We're going to get you sons of bitches on Monday!
That is just a stupid comment. Keller is in a contract year. He would do anything to be on the field. Sitting on the sidelines with this injury is costing him money every week. Especially when you consider how many targets he would be getting with the garbage the Jets roll out every week at WR. Frustrating? Yes. Blame Keller? How or why? I love how these fans on this board can tell how injured a player really is sitting in front of their computers.
All you will see around here this week is doom and gloom (deserved) and how one player (the QB) is to blame for the ineptitude of the rest of the team, the CS, and the GM. You will learn how the QB is really the only position that matters on a team and if you have one of the best, your team will win games no matter who else is on the field with that QB. You will see how fans can ignore that a team can't run and has the worst RBs in the NFL and how the RBs can't catch either. You will see fans dismiss that the QBs favorite target - TE Keller - has played one series in four games. You will fans dismiss that trotting out Kerley, Schillens and the bum of the week as the WR corps is an absolute disgrace. And you will see fans ignore that the run defense is pitiful. Instead, the team's performance all comes down to Sanchez week in and week out. That the rest of the team is completely talent poor is irrelevant.
You can't be mad at fireman Ed for this. He's just being a fan and hoping Keller and Hill will come back. We need them badly. "Fireman Ed isn't happy". Not the best title to describe this. He did nothing wrong.
