I think that's great, and it goes directly to the point people say that execution is only on the players, not the coaches. Even Ray Lucas last week claimed that all of the presnap penalties weren't Bowles' fault, since that's about players not focusing. Well, guess what? Coaches who can't get their players to focus (especially after years of trying) aren't doing their jobs, just as Fizdale is saying.

I also think there's a difference between a team with lots of veteran leadership and a young rebuilding team. Guys who command a lot of respect in the locker room will often make up for areas where coaching is lacking. No such thing exists here.

 

Bowles can’t do stuff like that. His IQ and social skills are in the negatives

I’m no Bowles fan and I want him gone but Jets already had this cheerleader type of HC in Rex and once he lost his talent on offense all the screaming and yelling and cheering did nothing for his team.

I would like a young offensive minded HC like Mcveigh who can develope Sam Darnold, I don’t care how much he yells and gives fist bumps.

Nice for Chicago that they have a GM who is building a good roster otherwise this guy would be another one on the list of HC who couldn’t get it done.

 

Yeah, I'm not partial to a HC's demeanor, as long as he wins. But when a coach loses, I'd like to see some acknowledgement that it bothers him. That doesn't mean he has to yell or scream or cry, but just some kind of expression that it's not okay. I've seen cadavers with more personality than Bowles.
