Adam Gase is a clown yet Jets fans were dumb enough to get conned into paying for some dudes marketing. The only clowns here are those that contributed to this embarrassment.

Count me as not in favor. What's next, billboard campaigns any time we lose three in a row? I think it makes our fanbase look whiny and childish. Mind you, there have been times throughout the history of this franchise where it's been needed. This is not one of them. I was against hiring Gase, but this season's results are not entirely on his coaching. I'd be happy to fire him next year if there's not a dramatic improvement. Gase and Douglas are as close to a "team" as the Johnsons can manage to hire. Let them work for a year or so. Are Joe Douglas billboards next week's billboard ad campaign?
They rejected the clown one, but approved a different design. He showed email proof that happened. Something happened within the last 12 hours where the advertising company won't do run it. The advertising company was the same one he used for the Fire Izdik billboards.
So Joe D either didn’t do his research into the toxic fanbase or is confident enough in himself to overcome them. Which one is it? Can’t wait to find out.
Lol. Hopefully the second and for good reason. Gase is a joke but he will kill his own career without billboards. Hopefully this doesn't kill Douglas' chance at a HC when he can pick his own. Some people don't think before they act.
I don't get how any true fan can be against what these guys are doing. Not ethical, no one will work here, blah blah blah... This is New York City for God's sake. If they can't take the heat, let them go to Green Bay or some other place most people can't find on the freaking map. This effing franchise has shown time after time that winning is something they can hardly care about as long as they are making $$$. They are an embarrassment and deserve everything that comes their way, ethical or not.
100% agree with you here. These billboards are no different than when the players and coaches end up on the back page of the NY Post. Can't handle being scrutinized? Don't come to NY. Although I do think the clown makeup was a little much.

Painting Gase’s face as a clown because you don’t leak the decision the owners made isn’t exactly sound logic. Sounds like misdirected anger to me.
