    wtf

Cinvis if your not happy then why don't you watch some of that CFL. Maybe then you won't complain about every little thing. Point is we won. If you were a true jets fan you would be happy instead of finding things to bitch about, especially stupid things to bitch about.

Not that I hope the Jets offense goes vanilla, but one of the problems with Herm is that we ran too many stupid trick plays (the Lamont Jordan pass, the Quincy Carter fake punt, etc.)

More conservative than Herm? Chad threw for over 300 yards. I don't think he ever did that under Herm.

Last year before game 1, I bitched about how Chad would have trouble hanging onto the ball, he then fumbled 157 times in game 1. Everyone mocked me...

Everyone says we weren't conservative because of our offensive calls however... Mangina had nothing to do with the Offense (anyone notice how on TO's Chad ignored Eric and talked only to Marty Jr, just like Herm)

Our conservatism came on D, where Mangina is in conrol.

I reject your opinions simply because you can't spell offense.

Mangina? I thought he was Vagini?

This is the same thing that people did to complain about Herm Edwards. You can't just pick and choose what you think that head coach is in charge of so it suits your arguement. The head coach oversees everything, not just the the unit that did worse in the game you are complaining about.

I know I am a new poster, but why would we fire Mangini after he wins his first game?

BTW, I prefer the name "Mangina."

After today's performance by the Chiefs, does anyone want Herm back?

I'm did not mean we should fire anyone... I'm mocking all those who said fire HERM for the same things Mangina did today

No, the problem was that Herm called them at the wrong times. They were never called when they might be a surprise, like on 1st down, but rather when being conservative was the right play. Vanilla ice cream is delicious with apple pie, and vanilla offense at the right time is fine. Herm and his OCs were incapable of realizing the time and place for being vanilla and for being daring. I firmly believe that under Herm the Jets drive in the 4th quarter would have been run left, run right, run up the middle, punt (with the 3rd down play on 3rd and 7 possibly being a 4 yard pass instead).

The Curse of Herm Edwards stikes the Chiefs today (starting QB gets injured). I'm glad I bet on the Bengals (+2). U knew they were going to come through. BTW Carson put up shit for fantasy stats, but at least the Gang Green came up with a W.
