I corrected it once I remembered about the pick 6.

Doesn't matter if we fire Saleh as long as Woody keeps picking staff.

In Saleh's defense we hired him because we wanted to be just as good as the 49ers.

    Now both teams are 2-3

    Mission accomplished!

I haven’t read anything but was Saleh pissed about the pick 6? They let a slow LB take it back 70 yards?

The HC needs to light the team up for that piss poor effort. They could’ve gotten back and tackled him

“We gotta keep doing what we’re doing”

Sure he’s told that to woody a few times.

This coaching staff will continue to hold these players back until someone gets the gall to do anything. This is absolutely pathetic week in and week out.

I think the thing that Douglas has improved at most all these years is escaping accountability.

I hope a reporter had the nerve to ask Saleh what exactly "We've got to keep doing what we're doing means".

    Does it mean:
    • committing an absurd amount of penalties?
    • taking so long to call a play that there's no time to check out of it when we get to the line with 5 seconds left on the play clock
    • having no idea what routes we're running
    • having no idea who to block
    • having no idea what gap to run the ball in
    • having no idea how to stop the run
If that's what it means to keep doing what we're doing, then Saleh deserves a contract extension, because he's got this group firing on all cylinders.

He's been a master at that since he arrived.

I actually, for as much as I can't stand him, feel sorry for Saleh in one regard. His GM continually leaves him out there, twisting in the wind for things that are only half his fault.

Yea. Well said. The thing is Corley can’t even dress for games. Just too many misses even till this day.

They need to post a transcript that we can skim for those. They can't expect us to watch that guy. I tried for the firsst time this season and the dumb look on his face combined with excuses mixed with empty talk made me stop watching. He is just not worth listening to.

I can only guess that he is so universally loved because he's like a sidekick. You can't put a little buddy in charge of a football team.

I used to watch them but I just can't put myself through that anymore. They're actually infuriating. I mean, he's bad at everything that comes with being a HC, but the press conferences are extra infuriating because that's one area where you can actually improve your skills and get better. I'm not sure that you can do that with the actual coaching part, either you can do it or you can't. But you can make yourself better at dealing with the media and he continually just steps in front of a microphone and manages to make every single situation worse for this team than it was before he started talking.

Here is the crazy part, thru 5 games the Jets have scored exactly 93 points, last year with Zack Wilson thru 5 games the Jets had suprise suprise 93 points. So you get a healthy Aaron Rodgers, waste a 1st on a Offensive lineman, spend a shitload of money on the oline, and you still put the same amount of points thru 5 weeks? So where exactly is the real problem? Players or coaching?

Saleh has actually gotten worse in front of the media. We've seen him progressively crack over the last couple seasons.

Which is amazing because he's always been terrible at it. I didn't think it was possible to handle a situation worse than he did the Wilson/White QB situation two years ago. But he continually looks himself in the mirror and tells himself to hold his own beer.

When I knew he was not taking how he approaches the media seriously, or just not very smart, is when he said he didn't have the mathematician available in order to know Hall needed like 6 yards for 1k for the season on the last drive of the season.

Now you have the cadence thing. If he can't take authority for just not thinking about how close Hall was to 1k, you think he's going to hold other grown men accountable? Whether it's a mathematician or the cadence, it always something other than a player or couch.

The Rodgers missing minicamp thing was his worst moment. He literally had MONTHS to come up with an answer to that question. MONTHS. Half a year, even, to craft a single sentence that would have put that to rest without incident and completely shit the bed when the moment arrived.
