Someone pointed out the helmet to helmet hit to Pennington by Bruschi-very clear, QB in defenseless position (on the ground) and NO FLAG. There does need to be better consistency by the officials.
Hobson got fined 7500 for that hit...what a crock of shit....now the NHL is trying to get these stupid rules on the right way to hit someone too....you know its real easy for a bunch of 60 year olds that have no clue how it really works to assume that a guy moving at full speed can simply change the direction and velocity of his body in a game situation...its a contact sport, people get hurt, its part of the risk...for shits sakes, is this soccer? badminton? basketball? No, it's football...but its becoming evermore hard to tell...
