    2 games in a row.

    Totals after 2 games:

    1,019 yards
    8 TD

Needs to continue, but talk about a difference. Jesus

He looks like a completely different OC. Maybe being on the sidelines was too much for MLF to handle. 1000 yards, 8 TDs, and 64 points from the 2nd and 3rd string QBs. Hopefully Zach is watching and learning just take what the D is giving you.

It was really nice to see Moore get the ball in space last night. Hopefully they can keep this up.

Maybe it was not Zach? I do not know but hard to give the offense to many props when we are down 42-10 and the other team is playing prevent and kill the clock. I would vote incomplete on ML and the offensive turn around.

He wasn't the issue last night. The fumble killed a drive and he couldn't have planned for another QB casualty.

And the other side of the coin says 878 yards, 10 TDs. Is there anybody alive out there?

It's possible LaFleur has settled down after a jittery start. It's possible he just feels more comfortable up in the booth. It's possible steadier QB play has allowed him to get a couple of first downs and settle into a rhythm with his play-calling.

Whatever the reason, it's like night and day. The past two weeks the Jets have looked like an NFL offense. Credit where credit is due, LaFleur seems to have turned things around, or at least shown flashes of what he can do.

It's quite possible that it is all of the above. I suspect the rhythm point has possibly been under appreciated generally.

The thing that is interesting is that his offense clearly does not need a great arm to be successful, just an accurate and timely one.

Why the Jets drafted Zach Wilson when the offense required Mac Jones skill set is a question we should probably be asking. The #2 pick was a ton of value to spend on a mad bomber when we were looking for a rhythmic distributor instead.

This should be a wake up call for Wilson when he comes back. He needs to mimic what White has done while he's played. Take the short passes and be decisive quickly.

So in your opinion we are stuck with mad bomber Zach? This can't be true:/. Douglas saw more in ZW than just a positive job interview ..right?

Good observations Brad but where was the GM and the brain trust looking when they decided to pull the trigger on Wilson ?? Plus how do you explain why Wilson looked in preseason? So tbh Iam at a loss he isn't playing better

I am looking at another kid on TV from out West J Herbert playing the Eagles...that kid can mix it up with long and moderate passes that are very accurate

We have gone all in on Wilson, he has a ton of talent ...he has to morph into a Herbert or D Carr if there is a payoff for us . I certainly hope so

Herbert has already set a shit ton of records for a rookie and second year qb.
Zach may turn it around but I do not think he will ever be at the level of Herbert.

Wilson got very few actual reps in preseason in competitive situations. He looked good when only Jets were on the field for reasons that are kind of obvious now that we have seen the Jets defense on the field in live competition. Also the Jets front 7 was not allowed to touch him for obvious reasons in camp. Nobody lets the defense hit their own QB's in the NFL.

So the pre-season was a mirage created by less reps than you would expect as Wilson was allowed to just take the job instead of competing for it. The pressure he faced was minimal at best and he didn't have to make adjustments on the fly.

Look, I have no doubt that Wilson would look just fine against scrub secondaries at this point. He throws a nice deep ball. The problem is that most NFL secondaries take away the deep ball and force you to go underneath for most of your yards. Wilson has looked really bad at making that particular adjustment.

Yeah Herbert is the best young QB ever thus far in his career. Very rare.

Did you miss the last two games where Herbert struggled?

I was one to bash lafleur. He was just horrible 1st 4 games. Just looked overmatched and lost. Looked like opposing D’s knew what was coming!!! Last 2 weeks have been unbelievable , if i did not see with my own eyes, I would not believe it. So I will give credit where credit due. MLF has made adjustments and the O has looked great, also some really nice play calls and execution. To go from pitiful inept and unprofessional O to a true NFL O, in 2 weeks has been remarkable trans formation. Hope it keeps up!
