So what Ivory isn't gonna win us games by himself, the guy has been a complete failure as a GM,this isn't a surprise to me I said this 8 months ago

I am sorry if this has been stated previously. I think that you had to 'purge' some of the bad contracts (like Tampa) and then add free agents and core players when you have more cap relief.

Additionally, you need free agents WHO WANT TO PLAY HERE. Currently, If I was a player, I would go to Seattle, Denver, Green Bay, etc.

No way Johnny get's fired. He'll be given an opportunity to hire his own guy after Rex get's a job as a greeter at Walmart, and be given an opportunity to blow another 12 draft picks on injured or below par talent.

In Idziks defense...his first draft was pretty good

Milliner - looks to be turning into something

    Richardson -DROY

Geno - honestly IDK because when other QBs lose their superstars but play poorly they gets a free pass. Geno has just Decker (with a bad hammy), Kerley, Nelson, Salas, Cumberland. I mean, is it really fair to evaluate him like this?

    Winters - a starting guard

    Ivory - Our best RB

Aboushi - looks to be poised to take a starting spot next year

    Campbell - Miss

Bohanon - good contributor on offense

Having said that, what he did with this last years draft was awful. Having 12 picks and not making ONE trade it beyond incomprehensible. I don't think it's fair to evaluate him so critically after just this past offseason though. There are a lot of great FA players coming available and we are in line to have a TON of money. Although it sucks to see this year, it's not like we were going to the superbowl. I say give it another year and if he still looks over his head, tear it down.

Milliner turning into what? He barely gets on the field

Just because winters starts doesn't mean shit he sucks

And geno is a fuking bum

Sheldon is only good player from that draft maybe aboushi but if he can't beat out winters who knows

DMarsh, with all due respect, disagree with a bit of this.

    - Milliner's body of work thus far should read "incomplete" at best. Yes, there are glimpses of 1st round talent, but he's gotta start staying on the field.

    - Brian 'whiff' Winters is a starter because of Vlad and unless he can somehow raise his game, he's gonna get Smith killed with his A-gap whiffs.

    - Aboushi? Starter? …. "duck Geno!"

    - Campbell - low round miss, it happens.

    - Bohanon: being a FB (and a low level one at that), I don't view him as much of a contributor let alone that much of a football player.

Why don't we just copy what Philly did with their team or Denver, or even SD. Said last May we all hate the Pats but they must be doing something right.

It's the organizational structure in all 3 cases. I agree that we need to be copying their models. Yet in order for that to happen, we need Woody to pick a top football guy to run the whole thing. Hire a HC, new scouting dept. and entire staff. I think this is the best chance for the Jets to regain instant credibility. Clean the entire house and start fresh. Thankfully we have some good personnel, mainly on defense, so it won't be a long rebuild.

The next scenario if Woody decides to keep Idzik and only fire Rex:

At the very least, we need to hire a Harbaugh or Sumlin type HC if Woody decides to keep Idzik. Yet if it's up to Woody and Idzik as to who the Jets next HC is, I think we all have reason to be concerned given their track records of picking the right guy.

As I sit here and write this, the more I think about it, the more I think Woody just needs to get rid of Idzik too. Just start fresh with a top football mind building it all.
