Well it’s hard to see him coming back

This team is utter trash…must win and we lay a 31-6 fucking egg…this team doesn’t care

We need a new GM and a new HC and that coaching staff…EVERYONE has to fucking go. EVERYONE

But yeah, JD’s had 6 years and this is the shit we get

I'll admit I didn't think getting rid of JDM would hurt the run this much. Honestly I'm not sure it should have.

But it adds on to JD seems to make a mistake or two each off season that just kills the team. The Jets are still the most talented they have been in many years.

I think this team, with a competent coaching staff would be competitive. It just would. If we get a coaching staff that knows what the fuck it’s doing, there is just too much talent to be this bottom feeding trash heap.

But we need a GM and HC who have a fucking clue.

Honestly yeah, I bought into JD. I was wrong.

They have more a talented team than I remember in years, but at the same time so many holes it just is not redeemable.

He tried to fix the oline every year but never learned after making mistake and mistake time and time again with aging O lineman.

Yeah that OL is pitiful…Smith is not even close to what he was…

Still, there is talent here. Players like GW, Hall, Sauce, Q, Quincy, Reed, Adams…these guys could start on any team. But the OL is dreadful and doesn’t play as a unit…the D has forgotten how to tackle. The play is undisciplined.

    Just awful

But if we had a decent coaching staff, we are over .500

In general, the talent level at the NFL is not that different top to bottom teams…a few key players, especially at QB, make a huge difference.

But we are not wholly deficient in talent…with a better coaching staff, this can be turned around … just need to fix that fucking OL first and foremost…JD has had 6 years to do it and hasn’t been able to sniff a decent OL

    Time for new management

Too bad we can’t fire the fucking idiot owner

NFL needs relegation and promotion like European football. That would cause NFL owners to act different.

I love that there’s a sense of meritocracy through ownership in EPL, as opposed to the NFL which is almost 100% run by inheritance of teams or trust fund babies using it as a guaranteed money maker
    .
How many times is Woody gonna give full strategic control to personality based Scouts or coaches with zero accountability or oversight into those decisions?
JD lost me on day 1 with the “tear down” approach which literally no good organization does. That approach is about ego and buying time for the GM with no regard for the fans.
This is a results business you don’t get 6 years for a magical promised window of success.
    Tomorrow fire him tomorrow !

Nah they are not that talented and are coached poorly.
When JD came on 6 years ago they had a good D, a young promising but unproven QB, and terrible offensive talent especially the Oline.

Since then the O coaching got worse with Gase and then Hackett, the Oline still sucks, the D hasn’t been able to stop the run for 6 years, and there still is no QB of the future.
There are more skill players on the O but that doesn’t matter because all of the above.
JD has objectively been a horror show.

Jevon Kinlaw is making more money this year than Jfm and Quinton Jefferson combined, Jd is a joke.

For atleast the next 3 years, he has put us in cap hell, and traded away draft picks for a mediocre team,Now we have to find a franchise qb again, Garret Wilson will not want to resign with this joke franchise and go thru the Zack Wilson experiment again so we will probally lose him for nothing, and we are a team of old have been mercenaries that do not care about winning just collecting their inflated oversized check.

Can't wait for JD to be fired. Absolutely brutal run on him. Hired horrible coaching, offensive line has been total garbage, Zach Wilson, Becton and all the other busts

Douglas has in large part done almost nothing correctly. He should be credited with ripping off Seattle for Jamal Adams and that’s about it.

Maybe some kudos for the DJ Reed signing but he’s been up and down. I don’t even give him a ton of kudos for “finding” Quincy Williams. It seems inevitable that he would’ve ended up playing with his brother (who was drafted by Maccagnan).

It’s so unbelievably disappointing because for once the Jets went and plucked two guys in Douglas and Saleh from winning franchises with good track records to end up getting their jobs and it’s been a disaster.

It's over. He's gone, and I'm sure he knows it. He's a million games under .500, and while this is isn't the worst team in Jets history, its easily the most pathetic and embarrassing (at least as long as I've been a fan). They need to clean house and start this thing from scratch. Rodgers has to go, one way or another. He can't have any influence into the direction of this team.

Go grab someone from the Lions or the Chiefs front office. Despite all the win-now trades, the Jets still have a good amount of draft picks. I assume we'll see one or two big name trades from whomever is brought. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Sauce traded away. Maybe you can get something for Adams as well. Go out and get a coach that understands the offensive side of the football. There is zero reason the Jets offense should be as bad as it is. Teams with less talent look better constantly.

This is the easiest most overhyped team in sports history to perform so bad, they put a bunch of old superstars on the team, sorrounded by a bunch of young ones and they do not know how to play together or function like a football team. There is 0 chemistry and the team is not coached at all.
