Thanks for the reply... The title of this is - Final Dream draft... lol... so I tried to nail all 4 picks even if a little unrealistic.

I will say, I too think OT is higher than people realize... to me ekwonu is the pick if he’s there at #4... I think they will move on from Becton... he’s a headache.

Also once I saw that the instant feedback after the Thibodeaux visit was that the Jets love him, I knew he’s not the guy for them at #4...

I almost think it’s gonna be Ekwonu at 4 and then something unexpected like Stingley at 10.

You're right there is a slight difference London is much slower than Pierce. Both are tall and can high point the ball but the Jets need speed and if I had to choose between the two I would rather have Pierce. But we really need Jameson Williams.

How can you say Becton is a headache? Nobody said that about Cameron Clark who was injured the entire time he was with the Jets. Becton was a stud his rookie year and he was a Douglas pick so I doubt he is saying he is a headache. If it's the media saying they don't count.

I agree not a fan of London. Of course, he is a red zone threat because he gets no separation. He is beating no NFL corner down the field. 4 days out I have no idea which direction the Jets will go.

Would you take London at either 4 or 10?

If it was me I’d want to follow my top 15 board which has London at 6. So I wouldn’t really be upset if they took him there but I have 4 Edge Rushers and Ekwonu preferred over London.

    I’m saying it...

before the draft there were all sorts of tweets saying he overcame some sort of addiction (mental, food, drugs, ??)... it was never disclosed what it was...

Then he showed up overweight as a rookie, but was able to get in shape and played well.

Next year after getting paid, he once again showed up out of shape, but more so and played crappy and then got hurt and missed 16 weeks for an injury that takes most normal (dedicated people) 4 to 6 weeks to heal from.

This year, he’s busy irrationally tweeting how upset he is that people are starting to question his work ethic...

So what does he do to show them wrong, he fails to show up to the first voluntary workout...

I'm not buying it what are your sources other than tweets? In my experience, if people are on drugs that would be discovered on the first day when they have a physical and blood test/urine test. If positive that would be a suspension. Maybe he has issues with Saleh and LaFleur and these guys take it personally instead of professionally and that is a problem too.

All drugs can be tested but there are a few that are out of your system when you come down off your high but those decrease your weight.

I don’t have sources... I’m just going by what I saw tweeted by his girlfriend before the draft that he was fighting to overcome some sort of addiction or state of depression... I actually don’t think it was drugs so much as mental stuff or a eating disorder... but I really can’t say to be honest.

And the rest of what I wrote is based on facts so no sources required.

I believe it was a food addiction, and that because his mom had a southern style food catering company he struggled with excess eating his whole life. Obviously southern food is notoriously rich and fatty, so I think we can make a pretty clear assumption that coming in overweight has a clear link to that addiction.

Also failed a drug test at the combine I believe. Seems like a classic weed+eating combo deal.

It would be great if Becton becomes the player who flashed in 2020, but it’s becoming clearer and clearer the coaching staff doesn’t like his attitude. If Ekwonu is there at 4, take him. But I kind of doubt he is so that’s why I want Johnson and then take another tackle later either in round 2 or with a trade up into the back of the first.

You may be in luck with JJ, Hughes is saying he's a legitimate option to be taken at 4.

I'm so torn on taking an OT at 4. I have very little faith in Becton turning things around but it's just such a gut punch to blow 4 overall on an OT 2 years after taking one at 11. Plus that would mean we'd be spending first round picks on OL 3 years in a row which is just nuts to me. Not that OL isn't important, it is, but having a good unit is more about having no glaring weak spots rather than trying to get pro bowlers at every spot.
