I on the other hand have nightmares of Fields going to New England tormenting us for the next decade and a half. I know what’s wrong with me.
That would definitely be a cause for nightmares, but what I meant was that I have a habit of checking the forum every night before I go to sleep. ...and first thing in the morning tbh I am in wrong continent, that's the issue
Heard an interesting theory today from CBS. That Shanahan/Mac Jones is deliberately leaked to entice New England to trade for Jimmy G. If the 49ers say they take Lance/Fields, NE might want to come up for Mac Jones...
What’s the funny part? Did I say he didn’t have a quick release or accuracy? Mahomes is a rare breed, has speed, athleticism, arm, quickness both foot work and arm, can throw from left side roll out, right side roll out, throw left handed, throw underhanded, has instincts....many stuff you can’t really teach. IMO you look at the players athleticism, physical specimen first. Or else you’ll get another Johnny Manziel.
"I hear people say superstar, I hear people say guaranteed hit. I just don't see it." JT No, Zach is not a guaranteed hit or a superstar now. But ... does that mean he is not the best choice at #2? JT mentioned before he probably prefers Fields at #2, says will finish evaluations by the draft week and post. Sounds like at least it is very close to him between Fields and Zach, with others clearly below. JT also appears to allude to Jets should keep Sam at the time of the video. Let's see what happens, keeping Sam is not an option now.
Honestly, this QB class is boring at the top. There is no Mahomes to latch onto as "generational". There is no Rosen or Haskins to point out as a soon to be bust. Just 3 really good prospects at QB in Wilson, Lawrence, and Lance. Even the guys I consider in a tier lower such as Fields, Mac Jones, and Davis Mills could all start at some point and have some success if the scheme/team is favorable.
He was a big fan of Drew Lock and Paxton Lynch though. Paxton Lynch, that guy who had a similar season to Zach Wilson's junior year against garbage competition.
Neither have I. Not sure if you have. I'd think the majority of the US population hasn't so using that criteria there are a lot of experts walking among us.
