absolutely right. I mean come on...Jets fans do seem to be regularly down-trodden about things, and if you can't get excited about this what can you get excited about? The amount of complaining about Chad over the last few years...Clemens had a bad start. If Clemens is our guy of the future, then he'll get his time later - but Brett Favre? One of the greatest ever and on last years evidence still one of the best in the league. This is exciting for sure, lets see where this goes fellas.

Man, this is a great day! It will go down in my memory of great days to be a Jet fan. Favre will help, but the best part is even if this doesn't bring a Bowl, it means the awful drawn out Pennington era is finally over. What a relief.

Wow. Christmas in August. I could not be happier. I have high hopes but even in the event the Favre signing turns out to be a total disaster, I am extremely pleased and grateful that Woody and the FO made this happen as there could be no better demonstration of their desire and commitment to the fans and to winning now. LC and Cotch have their best shot right now at career best years. Thomas and Leon will benefit tremendously as well since defenses will be leery of stacking the box. I have not been so proud, happy and excited to be a Jet fan as I am today in a long time.

Hello fellas. I am in Aruba and just heard the news. I ran naked on the beach doing the Jet chant. I am so happy. Best case scenario, Favre is great and we go to the playoffs. Worse cast scenario, he struggles, gets injured and Clemens steps up for a few games. Bottom line, no more CHAD!!!!!!!!!
Got room for a new fan? I'm a die-hard Packers fan and Favre fan going back to the college days. However, I've always had a strong affection for the Jets...my HS quarterback was Larry Grantham's son so I grew up pulling for the Jets. Anyway, looks like I'll be pulling for two green machines this year. I hope #4 will make as much of a difference in NY as he did in GB.
