How does Frazier look at his team before their game on Sunday vs. the Giants with a straight face and tell them this piece of shit is going to be their starting QB? Favre "leads" them to a 3-8 record, gets knocked out of the game, and then Tavarris Jackson comes in and throws for 200 and 3 TDs to win a ballgame. Your job as the head coach is to maximize your team's ability to win the game, not to prolong some streak this prima donna needs elongated one more game. Who gives you a better chance to win: Jackson or Favre? I think it's a pretty simple answer and so does the whole team. If Favre had any class, he'd step aside and let the kid start, at the very least, to see what Jackson can do. "As long as he can throw the ball he'll play," what a bunch of horseshit.
I have no evidence and not exactly trying to open a can of worms but what are the chances he's being pressured to start Favre to preserve his streak?
I think that the odds are about 900 to 1 that Frazier is being pressured to start Favre. Even if Favre was in a full body cast, they would carry him out on the field for the first offensive series so that the streak will continue.
Maybe but if Frazier wants to be the HC full time it would make more sense for him to play the QB that'll give him the best shot at the win.
