I hope he plays one more year. Next year would be his first back in the Meadowlands. And I would expect an ovation would be coming his way.

Good video, Stuckey was wide open in the flats a second into the play. Favre was looking Keller first on the opposite side though.

He was but the defender had a perfect angle on the ball and could've batted it down unless it was a perfect throw.

I think on our second trip (our first field goal) to the red zone Favre missed someone open in the left flats though. Don't know who that was. But he only got open cause it was one of those block then run route out after a while routes.

It was baker. Favre was locked into Keller on that one. He didn't make the same mistake the next time.

Yeah he should've made the other look on that one. I really didn't want to settle for a field goal there but Favre made up for it with the Coles TD for sure.

Awesome vid. Originally I thought he just threw that up in a general area and got lucky; nice to see the breakdown on how he set that play up.

Side note: So many funny comments in that one play, but I love the "other Brett" over there taking notes on the old guy and what he saw (or claims he saw) on that play. This is such a key year for Ratliff's development, I hope it pays off.

Eh, even watching it live, I don't know how one could think that. With the pump fake, at least. Favre doesn't just usually throw it to a general area and hope, he throws it to where the reciever should be. It was a nice break down though, showing how the greats can really help open up those small windows to get the ball in there, and how because of how great favre is at throwing off balance, or from any angle on the field, with his arm strength, that a play like that is something that it seems just favre can make happen. Broke 3 major rules of being a successful QB, and it worked. Again. Just like it seems to always work for #4.

    The guy is just amazing.

People also said Favre's chuck to Stuckey in the first game was just a prayer. Just because it ends up being a crazy play doesn't mean it's just Favre chucking up prayers wherever.

Like on that Stuckey TD, he saw Stuckey wide open, escaped the rush and threw it to him. He got hit as he was throwing though and that's why it flew up a lot higher than he probably meant it.

Another important point, how critical that Favre trusts Coles to be in exactly the right spot. Otherwise, that's a bad play.
