I never said Perkins was great. I said the system the Patriots run is the Perkins / Erhardt system which is designed to get the ball out of Brady's hands quickly.

He didn't start a game since his senior year in HS.

Do I need to list off NE's defensive stats again to you during their 3 SB chamionship seasons?

They held STL to only 17 points. STL had the most prolific offense that year. Brady's "heroic" drive was nothing but dump offs to Redmond and a 48 yd FG by Vinateri. Give me a break. That drive you claim to be incredible is OVERATED

With you it's the complete opposite

    Pats win because of Brady
Pats lose because of team / defense

Colts win because of team / defense
    Colts lose because of Manning

The Pats averaged 34 points during the season and only scored 14. They deserved to lose because of the futility of their offense particularly their QB.

If you're talking about Brees, they weren't in FG range so I'm not sure why youo would assume the FG.

He led the 5th best offense in 2005. But again I wonder if you truly understand what winning football is. It's not just one person.

Vanderjagt was very unreliable. He was in FG range and went for the GW score. But I see that you like QBs that go for FG tries instead. The FG would have only tied the score. A TD pass would have won it. Play to win right? Or play not to lose... hmm

Now there's a new Brady excuse I haven't heard before.

You claim the only reason the Pats have had success was because of Brady so why didn't he win when the defense played poorly?

And a week later Brady threw THREE INTs against that same defense at home. The only reason they didn't lose was because of their Defense.

Manning played well in 2008 game vs. SD. No turnovers and over 300 yards passing. But I understand that you want to place all the blame on Manning. Nevermind that he was blindsided because Indy's TE missed a block.

Perkins has never coached Brady. Brady runs a system called the Perkins / Erhardt system which was implemented by Charlie Weiss. Why do you keep mentioning what Ray Perkins did or did not do?

Your hatred of Manning is hilarious.

Take away 17 TDs from Manning that year, but you still have three 1,000 yard receivers because of him. He threw 49 TDs in 2004 and threw nearly 100 less passes than it took Brady to throw his 50.
