Lageman's cousin was our HS pitching coach. He pitched in the Minors with the Cardinals Org.

I agree with all three, but I would add Riggins and definitely Klecko.

I...what? Er, didn't they all leave for greener pastures? No, wait, that's wrong. Didn't they all leave and go from bum to Superstar? Yes, that's it. Yep.

For me its Santana Moss. I loved the trade up when we got him and loved his big play ability. I didnt like how fragile he was when he was here but he was one of my favorite players.

Victor Green ranks right up there. He was awesome. Also My main man of all time Ray Lucas!!

I hated to see Richie Anderson go. He was always a fun player to watch. I hated to see Kareem McKenzie go too. He was a beast Run blocking RT. We really shoulg have kept him. James Farrior definitely belongs on this list.

The absolute worst was seeing Laveranues Coles leave us after his breakout year. He was and still is my favorite player.

And most of all I hated to see Dedric Ward go...ok maybe not

I don't think he actually left for greener pastures. He only played two games for St. Louis and I think only had 1 or 2 catches for them...

While this may have been true at the time, Rob Moore never quite reached that status with the Cardinals and only lasted another 3 years or so. Turns out it would of been a genius trade had the Jets done something worthwhile with the first round pick they received (1995) like , uh, I don't know drafting Warren Sapp!!

I had Onzy Elam as a substitute gym teacher during the strike in 87. I thought to myself, times are tough when an athlete needs to substitiute to make ends meet.

Richard Todd. He helped resurrect a dead franchise and those early 80s Jets are still my favorite team.

Sure Todd was bad in the mud that day in Miami, but the coaching staff didn't help him either. Actually, the loss of Riggins was probably felt most on this day. If the Jets could've kept that locomotive in the backfield, the Jets could've rode him into Super Bowl XVII. Remember, that same day Riggo carried the Skins into the big game over the Cowboys.

Anyway, Todd played poorly in Miami, but he was magnificent the week before in Los Angeles.

I remember the day he was gone I was like "dam we lost a good future lb" Man, imagaine having farrior, vilma and than drafting hawk..... man what a hell of a lb core... only if....
