Cool little story about the Fairytale of New York. There is no such thing as the NYPD Choir. They have a pipe and drum, but not a choir. I hadn't heard this song until about 10 years ago when I saw the video. When they show the "choir" that's actually stock footage of the pipe and drum and one of the men they focus on is the father of my wife's best friend. When I saw it I was like, "Is that Mr. Fahey?!" My wife had never seen the video either and when she saw it she said that was definitely him. She called her friend and she confirmed it. He was a drummer in the NYPD pipe and drum . I thought that was pretty cool and I love the song.
Ho, ho, ho! People here are dysfunctional but Andy Williams' Christmas fun is "JUST THE BEST"! Especially when he continued to have his ex-wife on the Christmas shows after she shot and killed her boyfriend she hooked up with when divorcing him and then married her defense lawyer. Oh, yeah - he was married too! Happy Holidays to all!
