1st time I have less than 6 people on the DL, it's down to 5.

Are the Pipe Layers dead? Can I just go ahead and boot their ass and get someone new?

And soon as I say it I'm back at 6.

Pipe Layers is gone so we will need a new owner if anyone is interested or knows someone who is feel free to tell me because I'd like to fill the spot ASAP.

I'd love to step in as the new owner if there is still a spot. Looking for a keeper league with easily accessible owners...which we have thanks to the board. I'm a veteran of the format.

Been a while since I last posted, Cakes is the new owner btw.

Playoff race with 2 weeks to go(20 points) top 6 qualify

    Code:
    x-****************.com 105	47	8	.681	--
    KB Green's Quest 87	62	11	.578	16.5
    Lumber Jacks 86	63	11	.572	17.5
    Washington Senators 82	69	9	.541	22.5
    Montreal Expos 80	70	10	.531	24
    Them Bones 80	76	4	.513	27
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Byrnes When I Peavy 80	76	4	.513	27
    A Pile Of Meat 73	80	7	.478	32.5
    San Diego Dentists 69	85	6	.450	37
    Michigan State Spartans 59	90	11	.403	44.5
    Greyhoundjet 62	93	5	.403	44.5

    x- clinched playoff spot

Lot of teams still in it mostly on as a formality since I don't think too many teams will be going 10-0 for 2 straight weeks while others go 0-10.

    In case there's a tie:
PLAYOFF SEEDING AND TIE-BREAKERS (ESPN Custom & LM Leagues)
When your league converts into playoff mode the system automatically generates a seed for each team in the league based on the regular season results. The seeds determine where the system places each team in the playoffs. The primary factors which determine seeds are:

    1. Division Winner(s)
    2. Winning Percentage

In the event that two or more teams have the same winning percentage at the conclusion of the Regular Season, and have played the same number of Head-to-Head games between them, the following tie-breaking system determines the seed:
    1 - Overall record *
    2 - Head-to-head record
3 - Overall points (H2H Points League only)
    4 - Division record
    5 - Overall points-against (H2H Points League only)
    6 - Coin Flip

    * NOTE: Overall record is based on winning percentage. Therefore, a team that has more losses than another team might have the same winning percentage.

In the event that two or more teams have the same winning percentage at the conclusion of the Regular Season, and have not played the same number of Head-to-Head games between them, the following tie-breaking system determines seed:
    1 - Overall record
2 - Overall points (H2H Points League only)
    3 - Division record
    4 - Overall points-against (H2H Points League only)
    5 - Coin Flip

So Them Bones is ahead since they won the H2H with a 11-8-1(8-1-1 & 3-7) record over Byrnes When I Peavy

    Last week before playoffs

Top 6 get in(10 points left)

    Code:
    TEAM W	L	T	PCT	GB
    y-*****************.com 109	51	10	.671	--
    x-Lumber Jacks 94	65	11	.585	14.5
    x-KB Green's Quest 91	66	13	.574	16.5
    Montreal Expos 86	74	10	.535	23
    Them Bones 89	77	4	.535	23
    Washington Senators 86	75	9	.532	23.5
    ____________________________________________________________________
    Byrnes When I Peavy 84	80	6	.512	27
    A Pile Of Meat 77	86	7	.474	33.5

    x - clinched playoff spot
    y- clinched division title

Byrnes plays Meat so only one of them can get in if either can do it. It's almost the playoffs playoffs as 1 and 2 get cupcakes while 3 plays 4 and 5 plays 6. So we might see a rematch or 2 in the playoffs.

I see the same suspects lurking this year. I just hope I get Bautista back for the playoffs! Boy I miss his HR's.

Yes you did and bumped me into contention.

Our last two matches have been close, this should be really interesting.

    Good luck Johnny!

I think Wildthing won the last two years so it feels nice to end his reign.

I won't have Bautista until at least the weekend. I just hope I can keep in the game without him.

Glad to end his reign as well (sorry wildthing)! Tough way to go out though.

I'm not much of a homerun hitting team, so the loss of Bautista shouldn't effect much, although I any bit helps in the playoffs.

Good luck to you as well though, this next week is going to be fun.

Couldn't care less about this season since I would of lost since my hottest player is shut down for the season(Crawford) and my pitching staff is a complete train-wreck thanks to injuries and RL trades. At least it's nice to know someone else can actually win this year.

Time to get started on fantasy football.

Not really it's just my team isn't built to win the title especially since my superstar pitcher(Lee) turned into shit. 1/2 of my relievers lost their closer spot my best one was gone for the year early on(Rivera). Lost my catcher for the year in Ruiz, Shortstop was a train wreck the past couple of months. The rest of the pitching staff was up and down with no consistency. I can only have so much bad luck before it affected everything. I was just lucky to contend for a playoff spot considering how f'ed I was for most of the year.

I'm not bitter just disappointed my season went from 1998 Jets to 1999 Jets once we got into May/June.

My team just started off so slowly that I was shocked to still be in contention later on. Pujol's, Cano, bautista, and Reyes all started off like shit. Throw in Heath Bell and Romero with over 6 era's and I was getting killed every week. Once I traded Pujols things started getting better, I got rid of Heath bell in the deal and fixed my pitching.

I will just have to see how it goes in the playoffs. But I should have a good team next year as well. The core of my team is pretty set.

Man it is coming down to the wire for Lumber Jack and I.

He's got Miggy and I've got AJ Pierzynski starting tonight. I'm up but my record is shaky at 5-4-1, anything could happen.

What goes on if there is a tie?
