    Fuck!!

Commish, I had Clayton starting now he's on my bench. Can you change that?

Why would I sit my best pitcher?

Probably should of adjusted it so he wasn't on the bench since you do have a SP/RP in a SP spot. It's been like that for days so....

I checked it last night from my iPhone as I always do, and already had it set for the whole week. I put Johnny and him in. I mean come on, 8 innings pitched, 12k, 3 hits, and a Win.

When have I forgot? Never, in two years. I swear I did it last night!

    Check my login history.

And ESPN has it as Kershaw on the bench since Sunday so he stays on the bench. Roster moves made while adjusting the rosters might of affected this but as with Devil earlier ultimately it's your fault for not double checking. I just don't want to get on a slippery slope and possibly end up having to do everyone's roster everyday just to make sure it never happens again.

I understand, I'm saying it was a espn glitch. I always set my starters for the week.

I just hope you're not basing your decision because of trades.

Could espn change this, because I know with absolute certainty he was not on the bench...??

Went to a third party on a fantasy sports site

    And he said verbatim:
"If an Owner does not set his lineup, it is his fault.
... As far as there being a glitch in the ESPN system when a roster is set, no way. Funny it only happened to that one guy."

So it's a no. Nothing against you but I don't want to have a situation where people claim to have put people on when they have a good game. If he gave up 7ER we probably wouldn't be having this conversation.

I know, I didn't expect a change. I've been managing my team from my iPhone all season and this has happened twice before. Once I caught it in time and the other was a trade bug that I emailed you about.

It's just my luck that he had a lights out performance. If he was in he prolly would've sucked it up anyway. Ty for checking into though.

Didn't matter this time as you won out the pitching categories. Just a reminder to everyone, double check your rosters, if you add players it will affect future roster set-ups.

    3 weeks to go (30 points/games left)

    Code:
    PETROZZA LEAGUE
    TEAM W	L	T	PCT	GB
    KB Green's	96	48	6	.660	--
    Town Hall	89	47	14	.640	3
    Alaska Pipe 78	62	10	.553	16
    Montreal Expos	76	61	13	.550	16.5
    Tommy's Yankees	73	70	7	.510	22.5
    dDay Blitzers	75	72	3	.510	22.5
    ______________________________________________________
    Greyhoundjet	71	72	7	.497	24.5
    Them Bones	68	74	8	.480	27
    Michigan State	61	82	7	.430	34.5
    Miami Jam.	59	80	11	.430	34.5
    Andre The Cage	60	82	8	.427	35
    Fresno's Finest	41	97	12	.313	52
KB and Devil can clinch this week if they maintain a 20+ lead on 7th.

I know we got two who are going to be booted at the end of the season (Tommy and Miami) but I've also started to look at who else is being inactive like:
-Greyhound our previous commish who hasn't done much at all especially when you see his current roster with 6 on the DL with only 1 on the DL position and a healthy guy on the DL.
-Them Bones hasn't done anything since June 28th. He was a playoff contender who dropped off by his inactivity which is disappointing.
-Andre the Cage who hasn't made a roster change since April 13th.

My guess is that Andre the Cage will be joining Tommy and Miami in being tossed at the end of the year unless proven otherwise.

Thank God I won the strikeout category, very close though, just 4 over.

I can't believe my team only managed 5 Homers in this time frame, my offense has been slumping which is off for a fantasy team.

You have five "dead" managers. Then there is a 6th guy, apparently active, with a .313 winning percentage. That's a rough league. Start transferring ownership pronto if you can. At Yahoo you can do that, but I don't know about espn.

In my keeper league we started the year with some problem managers. They are all gone now. All current managers are active.

Get rid of Andre, Tommy and Miami. Don't even mess around. They were inactive in 2011, they'll be inactive in 2012 too.

    It's a rebuilding year, man.

I have some pretty good players, things just haven't gone my way I guess:

    Matt Wieters
    Jason Heyward
    Mike Stanton
    Justin Upton
    David Price
    Desmond Jennings
    Carl Crawford
    Brian Wilson
    Neftali Feliz
    Mark Trumbo
    Alexi Ogando

That's cool. Depending upon how the draft works, it might make sense for someone in that league to be real real bad one year like that one season when the Spurs tanked and then drafted Tim Duncan.

However, looking at it strictly from the commissioner's point of view it would stink to have 50% of the league either be "dead" or brutally bad.

It does suck that a lot of owners stopped giving a shit.

I've been in last place for most of the season and I've continued to make small moves here and there. I always adjust my pitching too. It doesn't take that much time.

I set my team up like this on purpose. Things just haven't happened as fast as I thought - Price, Feliz, Wieters, Upton, Stanton, and Heyward will more than likely be All-Stars for the next decade or so.

Same thing I did last year... my team was just a ton of young guys and I was terrible. But I held on to them, picked some good keepers, and had a good draft pick.

So what happens the rest of the way?

Teams facing mom-managed teams down the home stretch have a advantage, but I guess they weren't being managed anyway.

is there any one here who would consider taking over a team now to get used to the league and set themselves up for next year?

Just so happens our Commish is facing the Seattle Pilots this week.

So he hasn't logged in at all? You aren't messing around with his lineup right? Lol

I'd be interested in taking over a team right away. Been looking for another keeper league. Actually, I was in the league that is still stickied, though we've been inactive for 2 years.
