I think wildthing tried and it would not let him expand it past 3 for this year. This year you are making up for last. Right now your the team to beat!
What happened was it was not set prior to the draft so we were stuck with it. Now I have 5 STARters on the DL, thankfully my other 2 are off DTD status. Someone of the bottom teams should make a trade for Posey, and they'll be set at Catcher for the next 10 years. A keeper for a keeper, come on someone must want him. Dday did you review my offer. Jeff plus Posey or Lee, looks like either OF might be just as good this year anyway plus you get Posey for life.
Or they get Kendry Morales and he struggles to make it back and is never the same. Plus there is no way he lasts 10 more years at catcher, where his production is elite. At first base he's middle of the pack.
Yea I tried expanding it but for some stupid reason ESPN wouldn't let me expand it without resetting the draft. Some roster limit BS. Now you guys are going through what I had to last year when my starting 1B, 2B, and 3B were all on the IR at the same time.
Jorge has caught for 16 years so you never know. Even if you get another 6 years of elite production at catcher that's good. I think it'll be more, he has the body type to last. Plus he just turned 24.
Wildthing you better start picking it up or i will miss you in the playoffs. Were tied at 1 and 1 and I want the tiebreaker!
devilonthetownhallroof Damn you and all your closers!! lol 30 teams and my dumb ass only has 1 actual closer, you greedy bastards need to give one up. I think we should have a negative category next year. Making it a 6x6 league, putting in losses for pitchers and SO's for hitters. This league is too damn HR favored. 1 HR helps you in 4 of the 5 scoring categories, adding SO's will balance that out, same thing with losses. I know for one I would be hesitant to start some pitchers factoring that in. Of course it doesn't help that I'm up against the HR king this week. lol Your thoughts? I just think it would make it more interesting. How do you all feel about adding a walks or on base percentage category, and for pitchers innings pitched? Just throwing out some ideas to make it interesting...
Well I'm sure you won't want to trade this week but I need to get one. Since I'm already down 3 key starters on offense I could offer one of my starters. Would that work, maybe we can start discussions now. God I was pissed when I saw you already hit 5 homers after being so excited with my 3. lol I'll see you in the playoffs with Panda and Holliday back and revenge will be mine. ha
Me to! I don't get why the guys in this league seem to under value them. They help keep my era and whip low week after week.
Damn you too! lol I forgot we were working on a deal. Would you like a quality starter for Huston? Send me a offer if so. It's in your best interest to help me take down the Devil 's. lol
I would not like adding losses by pitchers or strike out by batters because I barely can follow all the stats the way they are.
I was in a league like that for a few years and it really evens out the playing field. Since HR hitters are notoriously big on SO's too hit helps the teams that have players who hit for average more. I think we had a OPS category too and WHIP for the pitchers.
Not a fan at all of the negative categories. On another note, Carlos Quentin is officially on the trading block. He's played just fine, but my OF and UTIL spots are all filled. Asdrubal Cabrera is also available, as I have Tulo at short. Looking for 2B, SP, and 3B, in that order.
I'm overflowed with SP, and need another OF and hopefully a RP... you greedy bastard. I'm sending something now. Let's break some ground here and get the first trade done.
My team is playing like shit this week, both pitchers and batters. I have starters up for trade, anyone except Kershaw I'd part with.
So that means in this TGG league you guys don't have WHIP? What are the pitching categories that you are using?
