My team should be fantastic...AFTER THE BREAK... Most of my high picks are gone, freaking rediculous. I feel lucky I'm still in second.
Thank God for Buster!! Filling in great in Victor's absence, great keeper too. The guy is tearing the cover off the ball.
C'mon man...At least make a real effort here...A DL'd, underachieving catcher who wont be back for probly another month for the first half MVP?
Plus a OF'r- V-Mart has high fantasy value at the catcher spot. He's been injured twice thie year and is still batting .289, 9 HR, 38 RBI. Is still the number two rated catcher in the AL and number 3 in MLB. Don't rain on my parade, lol
He's over rated and losing velocity. He's doing fine in the minors, but he's a reach in the pros. I'd MAYBE get him in a deep keeper league, as he probly a year or so away from making a real impact. He allows alot of hits and dosen't strike out many. He's a control, groundball type pitcher. Theres a reason the Giants are entertaining trading him as part any deal for Hart or Fielder.
TY- I figure I'd give him a try tonight, since Latos is on the "DL" until Saturday. My pitching stats are already blown for this weeks matchup anyway. I'm trying to find some keepers, my team is full of old-timers. I hope Posey can keep hlaf the of his current pace up.
Posey is the real deal, good pickup there. I wouldn't anticipate him keeping up this torrid pace, but he's gone some power.
Sadly, I think you're right. I've seen him in Conneticut and thought he had a good shot, but he just can't get it together.
He's been fine in AAA, but unless he gets his velocity back or majorly improves his command I don't see him making the jump.
LOL- He pitched decent last night against LA, and being only 20 he still has a lot of time to get adjusted. He's still growing at this point, lol.
I'm hoping the Giants can pitch the Brewers on the idea of Bumgarner being the real deal and using him as a center piece for a Fielder trade... Wishful thinking tho...
