Well that's what I was saying about Caesar's camp. Early in the game, I annihilated all Legion soldiers I came across. By the time I had to go to the Legion headquarters for a quest (Platinum chip), I couldn't get to Caesar without his soldiers attacking me. Even the boat guy attacked me...I had to throw on Legion armor just to get to the fort.
Game is great... but if it didnt save everytime you took a shit I would have threw it out the window by now. Glitchiest game I ever played... froze at least 6 times already.
I know they will attack you no matter what if you have Boone following you... could have been a possibility in your case. Speaking of boone... he straight up disappeared on my ass. Still have his perk so I know he isnt dead... vanished when I met the guy in the checkered coat.
Game is glitchy as fuck. It's frozen up on me at least 30 times - PS3. And the place to go for weapons is the armory in Vault 34. FYI - that place is annoying as all fuck. I was in there for at least an hour trying to figure out where to go and what to do.
Yea I don't even talk to wasteland merchants roaming around the world anymore because everytime so far it froze. Another thing that really pissed me off is I stored a bunch of shit in a safe in a house i own and it's no where to be found.
Bethesda is the king of glitchy games....their games are just too large in scope to debug and beta test every little aspect of the game to that extent. it's annoying but i guess it's still worth a very good game. i save a shitload...especially it points where i know it's going to autosave and i may want to do something different/think my companions might die i prefer Bioware as an RPG maker. Dragon age origins is probably my favorite game i've played in the last few years. my girl wanted to smash that game with a sledgehammer because i ignored her (and everyone else) for a week and just ripped through it
When you enter the Casinos they make your peeps wait outside. You have to go back to the Casino to get them...it's annoying as fuck. PS - I fucking offed Mr. House...he was annoying me.
You got rid of him? Haha oh shit ... well if you collect those Snow globes you get some legit prizes for his "wife" I'm currently level 12 doing some NCR missions at Camp Caravan, I'm after the fiend leaders
I cannot wait to play this game, but am waiting for several patches. I got to the Fallout 3 party really late, and very few glitches remained.
I had a different experience with this... I was accepted and got into the Legion camp Legion armor and all... no one attacked me. The guard took ALL my guns and ALL my meds including stimpacks so I figured I was good to go... go and find Caesar and see what he has to say. NOPE! I got threw the camp just fine... but the second I walked into his tent with the 2 guard dogs and about 6 or 7 guys they all attacked me. So here I am with no stimpacks or weapons and run out the door behind me where the rest of the fucking Legion starts shooting at me... this is all saved keep in mind with my last manual save about 15 hours previous to where I was. I was ready to get the game and snap it in half and call it a day... so god damn glitchy its unbelieveable. What I ended up doing was using all three of the stealthboys that I had to loose my danger level... and as soon as the guys on the map turned back to yellow I fast traveled my ass out of there. Getting all my shit back thankfully. I end up fast traveling back there and same thing happend... but this time I had my guns and what not but even with Guns at 95 and 30 some odd stimpacks these fucks with what ever mele weapon they had were still too much. Long story short... after using 15 or so Frag Mines and a dozen stimpacks Caesars room was messy, all my limbs were broken...and I had the platinum chip. I let Benny go gaining good Karma only to go in vats and blow his fucking head off :lol: What I don't get is the mele weapon they use dominates enimies and my mele is like 18.
Manual saves are a must. You'll get stuck getting your ass handed to you or having to waste supplies if you don't.
Three things I found that would cause them to fucking hate you forever: 1. You did this: after the guy confronts you outside of Benny's casino and tells you to see Caesar. 2. You have Boone as a companion(as TGD said) 3. You're wearing either NCR or Brotherhood of Steel armor. I know the Legion will attack anything in NCR armor and I'm pretty sure they hate the Brotherhood too.
Is anyone else loving Veronica as a companion? Player: How did you join the Brotherhood of Steel? Veronica: More sexual favors than I care to count, and I'm still tired. :rofl::rofl: Also, Veronica + BoS Armor + ballistic fist = everyone else is dead.
I haven't ran into Veronica yet, I will be soon I think as I'm doing BOS quests now so I wouldn't mind getting her as a companion Love Boone as my companion though, I do the dirty work he finishes them off ED-E is also a pretty cool companion as well Went into Vault 22 yesterday, pretty easy not as creepy as I thought, usually Vaults make me nervous going back to FO3 haha
Veronica is hanging out at 188 Trading Post between Boulder City and REPCONN HQ, if that helps. She's the easiest companion to get, all you have to do is avoid one answer when she asks you about the Brotherhood. ED-E and Boone are the best companion combination in the game, since Boone actually gets EDE's enhanced perception benefits. I'm not a big fan of the Vaults in this game. They just don't seem as fun as the FO3 vaults, just difficult.
I beat this game already once through on normal mode and now playing it a second time through on hardcore mode but going to take a different path this time. Game is absolutely amazing. If anyone has some extra time on their hands, down in the southern edge of the map is a crashed vertibird with a bunch of drones and mr handy type robots. Once you kill them all if you search near the crash wreckage there is a good energy weapon called a Tesla.
If you're interested in getting veronica when the time comes you will have to get rid of boone as you're only allowed 1 human and 1 bot as companions at the same time. Boone is a decent sniper but I like veronica better because she's a melee character who uses power fists or supersledges if you put them in her inventory. Usually one hit kills unless you're fighting deathclaws or cazadors
