You bump this after a win? The win was ugly as sin, but we escaped with a win, making a few plays when we had to. Ask the Patriots how they feel about beating the Rams today. Better yet, ask the Jaguars how they feel about NOT beating the Browns today. I realize none of those teams are as bad as KC, but I will give Thigpen some credit. The receivers were open, but he played as well as any rookie QB I've seen.
how dare you give credit to Thigpen. it was the play calling that caused him to have a good game. it was mangini saying be sloppy with your coverage and make this kid look good! one thing i have learned from this board is that they will never give any credit for the opposing team competing. the jets always play down to another teams level. a lesser team has never played up to the jets level. its just how it goes after reading the board for the last 20 mins i have one thought running through my mind. that thought is, if the jets ever win a super bowl the minute the game ends there will be someone posting how the win isn't as sweet because the game was sloppy. it isn't a great super bowl win because we made to many mistakes. i can picture it in my mind right now seeing the thread about how the super bowl win is over rated because of those things. and i would not be shocked to see it if the jets ever do win a super bowl. jets fans more than any other group of fans can take a win and make it feel like a loss.
