Decker stays healthy, he will get us 1000 yards and close to 10 TDs. This could have been accomplished with Geno last yr
He almost had a 1000 yard season this year finishing with 976 yards so I think 7 tds 1127 yards is what id hope for next year
To be honest, I'm expecting MORE from Decker than last year with Brandon Marshall around. I think Marshall will draw alot of double coverage and safety help and leave Decker open. As we saw in the last game, Decker can be a nice deep threat for Geno and he has the ability to win match ups with corners one-on one. When Percy came here last year, I was expecting the same thing, but in reality they just told Geno to throw to Percy in coverage (thus why Geno forced 3 INTs during the Bills game). I don't think they will give Geno his reads this year though. Marshall is a much better WR than Percy. My surprise prediction stat of the year: Eric Decker 1100 Yards receiving. (I think B Marsh gets 600-800 yards receiving)
Not many are complaining about Decker and I wasn't either. The point of the thread is that it is tough to judge exactly what we have in Decker after last year's offensive nightmare and overall shitshow as a team. I do think, as I stated in the original post, that he turned it one at the end of last season especially. Now considering the new cast we have going into 2015, I wanted to know what people's expectations were of him. Most people got the point and gave their opinions without accusing others of "bitching", which you seem to be comfortable in doing so. I hope you get the point of this post now.
i dont think 1100 yards from decker would be a suprise and i dont think he even needs marshall drawing attention to do it. he had 962 yards while basically missing 2 games. if he didnt miss snaps to injury he easily would have hit 1100. he may have had 1200-1300 if geno/vick didnt miss him so many times. he had 2 long touchdowns where he was 10+ yards behind the defender negated by horrific overthrows off the top of my head alone

Since I dont trust either Decker or Marshall to play a full season, put me in the we should draft a WR camp
Yep, this is probably the biggest concern of mine. Either one of these guys drops and we are not too far removed from last years offense.
which is true for basically every team. anybody could wind up hurt, decker and marshal had some nagging ones last year and have about as much chance as any other WR to play all 16 or get nicked a week or two. they aren't known for getting hurt a lot.
