    No wonder they can't learn the defense. When Ulbrich was talking about fundamentals, he meant cutting paper and tying shoes.

    I'm pretty happy with today.

    My goal is the offense showing progress. It did. The youngsters look great. Lafleur called a great game. Our draft position improves. Today was a win.

    You remember those?

    A cloud of kids all running around after the ball carrier, who generally is the fastest player on the field so his pursuers wind up in a great big fan behind him as the procession moves down the field.
