Is there going to be a UFL Madden?

    Schlegel was pretty bad, BTW.

I always thought Rattay was gonna turn out to be a pretty decent QB.

Chas Gessner is also a former Jets tryout. I thought Brooks was still backup somewhere....guess not.

Schlegel was shit from the get go

this league seems like it could be pretty legit. Imagine if it grows into its own and turns into a farm system of sorts for the NFL where NFL teams franchise their teams. They did say they were going to work with the NFL so it would seem like an interesting notion.

but the NY team in CT? that i really dont get. I mean NJ is pushing it but CT?!?

Chris Perry is out of the NFL already? I had him on like all my fantasy teams to start last year.

Quincy Wilson is another familiar name on that list.

hopefully this is a serious league. hopefully they can put a product on the field and HOPEFULLY all the football fans that really dont give a shit about football will actually pay a little bit of attention and not think that they are some elitist douchebags who can only root for the "pros".

i enjoy these smaller leagues and look forward to it.

I really don't get how Ted Cottrell is a head coach. The first move the NY franchise ever made and I'm already against it. Why am I not surprised...

Why was I thinking that Bollinger was on the Cowboys??? I know he was in Minny but was he not traded or part of a trade to Dallas?

Minnesota cut him at the end of the 2008 training camp. Dallas then signed him. He played in Week 9 at the Giants. Dallas discarded him after the season.

Almost as a rule, in any new league the NY team has to be a huge disappointment. Even the Generals sucked until they bought half of the USFL, causing it to eventually go out of business.

I remember seeing Bollinger come in during one of the late Sunday games for Dallas, that's probably why you remember it. I was in a sports bar laughing at these Cowboy fans because they were happy to see someone other than Brad Johnson come in as backup. Bollinger subsequently got embarrassed.

I like the idea of having a second championship like the UFL. Living in Europe I mostly follow soccer and for us it's normal to have different leagues where players can develop... I always asked myself while American Football didn't have anything like that...

PS: The only change I would make is that the rules should be EXACTLY the same as the ones in the NFL... I heard they wanted to introduce some weird rules taken from other leauges...
