Win and in baby! We will see how chad does against a great quarterback with a rocket arm-- Aaron Brooks.
They have never let down against a team as bad as the Raiders in a season finale with a playoff spot on the line. A loss today would be unprecedented.
Just because a person has never been run over by a truck while wearing a brown shirt (he's been hit while wearing blue, green and black)...doesn't mean it is safe to cross the highway.
That is true, but has nothing to do with the post I quoted and my comment. PF4JETS and yourself are worried about a loss today solely based on this team's history. The problem is there is no precedent here. In other words, all week long I have been trying to tell you darksiders to enjoy the game.
It's as relevant as your comment. The fact that the Jets have never lost a season finale to a bad team with a playoff berth on the line is finding a technicality to prove they will win. The truth is this team has a history of melting down when expectations are high.
Re-read how the thread developed. I quoted something written by KOWIE that this game was akin to other Jets letdowns. Well, it just isn't because there was no other game like this. Did I write that the Jets would win today because of a technicality, because they were for the first time ever playing in a game like this against a poor team? No, I did not. What I did was explain that comparing this game to other types of letdowns was wrong.
Yeah, I don't want any trouble with you being that I think you are one of the top posters here in terms of quality posts. I am on edge because a couple posters have really irritated me of late. (Let the record show, KOWIE certainly was not one of them. I just disagreed with what he wrote in this thread.) The Jets won this game because they are clearly the better team. That's why I predicted a 27-0 win.
