Yeah. If Colon is out that means Winters starts against Suh next week.... that basically means we end the game with Geno.

Suh looks pedestrian this year, not afraid at all.

Jets are awesome in second halves this year.

    Browns:0
    Jets: 17

    Jets:10
    Colts:7

    Eagles:0
    Jets:10

So we are 37-7 in second halves this year. Combine this stat with a new Head Coach, I say there might be a trend here. "LEARNING CURVE" for the head coach. Wasn't extremely happy after the Colts win last week and I am not extremely upset with the Eagles loss. It is what it is. This is football. You will win some and you will lose some. With a new coach, maybe it is time to wait, see and give these new guys a chance.

I'm sorry but playoff teams usually win games like this.

During the elation of last week's win late on Monday night, I wrote on this message board that I didn't have a good feeling about the Philly game. I thought they were better than a typical 0-2 team and I thought we were due to have a game where we turned it over more than we took it away. Unfortunately, I was right. The turnovers absolutely killed us today (just like they killed both Cleveland and Indy during the first two weeks) and it was beyond obvious how valuable Decker and Ivory are to our offense. Fitz is what he is: A turnover prone JAG who you can win with if he manages to limit his interceptions.

Overall, I'm disappointed that we didn't win a game a true contender would have won, but I'm not all that surprised. I think we have 9-7/8-8 written all over us.

If there is, it's a wonderful sign of things to come, but the sample size is still a bit light. I'll be very curious to see if this really is a trend or not as the season progresses.

We don't lose 4-5 to our division. If you mean conference then possibly but still highly unlikely. We have the most bi-polar fanbAse in the NFL. Pure uforia when we win and utterly manic when we lose. It's one game. Re fucking lax people

    Complete nonsense.
If Fitz played the EXACT game he played, but ...

Marshall doesn't provide two turnovers ...
The punt coverage team can tackle Sproles ...
We can run the football ...
The defense doesn't tackle like they all have one arm ...

We'd probably be sitting at 3-0 right now.
It's ridiculous to watch that game and think the QB was the only reason we lost.
Everyone contributed to the pile of dogshit, and every turd made it a little harder to win.

Games like what? Being down 24-0 by basically giving the other team 14 points off of turnovers (Brandon's dumb play) and a special teams punt return? We score 17 unanswered points and allowed 0 in the second half. There is no way philly won this game, the Jets lost this game 3 or 4 times today.

It's all about limiting turnovers, the defense will be fine...9-7 or 10-6 is still a very real possibility

Fitz really missed Decker and Ivory... Powell played ok but he just isn't the down hill runner Ivory is.. Decker in the slot has been money for Fitz and was dearly missed.

The two most disturbing things were Fitz's inability to move the ball in the first half, and the lack of urgency in the 4th quarter. That last thing is very disconcerting as that's on the coaching staff. They can't play 70s ball, where everything is slow and methodical on offense. Sometimes you've got to go no huddle and realize that you only have a limited time to win the game. Hopefully, the media tears Gailey a new one for that playcalling.

Fitz looked bad but heck franchise quarterbacks don't grow on trees...look at Detroit I don't get the hype arround Stafford the guy stinks and is making all this money. I would take...heck Mark Sanchez over him...look at San Fucked... Colin K threw for 59 yards and 4 interceptions including 2 pick six's both making tons of money.

My point is (we could be stuck with an overpriced underperforming quarterback) do we have a top tier QB no, not at all but all things considered with our D we're doing OK give Petty a year or 2 to deliver hell maybe Geno can show us something with a full arsenal of wide receivers. We were short handed today Decker being out hurt, Marshal was double teamed all day. Ivory etc...heck we've got no depth at TE neither... I'm excited for how this season will play out our new regime is on the right track GO JETS.

PS watching DET DEN holy hell Sanders catches EVERYTHING still wish we signed him.

I hate to say it but Rex is going to have a field day with us if we can't run the ball and the Bills run defense is really good. I wouldn't be surprised to get swept by the Bills and the Pats this year if Ivory is not in the mix in a big way.

This^^. It's football. Off a huge win on Monday night I had a feeling something like this was coming. The team was terribly flat.

You'd almost hope this is the type of game where the players come in tomorrow and they toss the game tape in the garbage and focus on the next week. Teams do do that so hopefully we got that game out of the way early.

This is what makes me optimistic. If the trend was the opposite and teams were figuring us out in the 2nd half week to week that we be a cause for concern.

Like I said before we were blinded by the mnf game W.

We had a boat load of turnovers! If we were so good as many made us look before yesterday's game we should of put up 30+ on the colts. Not owning that game with all those turnovers told me once again that this offense is lacking something important and that is a qb.

This is shaping up to be the typical jets season so far.

Also once again NE is dominating !!!! :(
