So do you guys think a WR or two drops into the 2nd round?

I can see Detroit doing the following

    #1 - Matthew Stafford
#20 - Kenny Britt or Vonte Davis
    #33 - James Laurinaitis

Hmm, now that I'm reading what I'm typing here. Davis would make more sense. So that would drop a WR down a peg or two.

If the Lions get Stafford, Davis and Laurinaitis that is a decent first day!

I think it's a stupid pick, but i see what Lombardi is thinking, if he hears from his sources the Jets are really high on Freeman a trade up makes sense, especially if sanchez goes to Jax or SF in the top 10, there are several teams like TB who like freeman who might jump the Jets, if they really want Freeman moving up seems likely. Look at Flacco last year, quinn in 2007, cutler in 2006, Losman in 2004, Campbell in 2005 (though the trade happened a few days before the draft)
most years someone moves up for a qb, and with a couple teams late in the 1st needing Qbs I'd expect someone to move up for Freeman unless Sanchez starts falling

#20 is probably going to be a tackle if oher or Britton is there, maybe Beatty even. unless of course they take Smith #1 overall in that case 20 is probably Freeman if he's there, or more likely the BPA on Defense or at the outside maybe Knowshon Moreno or Beanie wells
