He's not wrong. The scary part is he's not wrong. The offensive line does have 2 or 3 new starters. The runningback position doesn't look very good. The receiving position is below average. The quarterback position is a question mark.

It's not unreasonable to think we have the worst offense in football. I don't think we will, but on paper, it's certainly possible. Can anyone dispute that?

Sadly, no. I just think the WR are a bit better than we are getting credit for, but if your QB's suck, it doesn't matter who your WR are really. You never know what will happen when the season starts though. It's why they play the game.

Definetly seems reasonable to believe that. Most of us have been so enamored with the new atmosphere Mangini brought in, that we're getting abit overly optimistic. It'd be unfair to expect instant results from a team that is still so raw. I think the Jets will manage to be competitive in most games, but if they break 6 wins, I'll be impressed.

He's right about our O. It was pathetic last year and we didn't add a single playmaker on that side of the ball in the off season. If your going to mention a converted QB from college or Tim Dwight, save your breath. Neither one of them is going to make a diffrence, atleast this year. And Chad? Half of us would have run him out of town last year and the other half is holding it's breath. Either way, with him in there or not, we are not SB contenders. He is now delegated to holding the fort till KC or another QB comes in to take over.

Has everyone missed something. The Ambulance at Jet's Stadium (yeah!) was a permanent fixture last year. We went to our 3rd QB for most of the season and we were also mired in super conservative game planning by some KC coach. We had a hobbled RB for most of the year. The O-line was decimated.

If this doesn't translate to 31st or 32nd in the league, I do not know what else will.

This year is a new chapter. We are fixing things. While I do not expect miracles, I know we will be much better than last year.

A rookie line, No Rb, No QB, and Mediocre Wr and Te's = 31 or 32 in the League. Those problems get addressed next year via the draft and F/A.

I agree with fourth and long. It is very difficult to see where the points come from this year. It's a building year; the offensive line should come together in the second have of the season. The good part of this is that having what I suspect will be an awful offense will get us Adrian Peterson this year. During all the 17-6 losses, we can have images of D'Brickashaw leading Adrian next year.
