I did find that odd and curious though, as did Rich Eisen from NFL Network. We;ll know for sure this week but that latest report from NFL Radio says he is fine.

Chad placed on IR after being shocked by the miserable play of the OLine, and retears cuff while shivering. Pennington will visit Dr. James Andrews once again after fears that he may have redamaged his rotator cuff while raising his hand to ask a question during team meetings.
Well the report was bogus anyways. About 5 mins after he started the thread this afternoon the Sirius NFL Radio reporter and Jets camp said Chad was on the field throwing so I posted it. I can't understand how contradictory reports can come about so easily, unless CP to LC took it out of context somehow.
