13-3. All loses coming in the first 6 weeks. Or 12-4 with a stupid loss late to a bad team, cause that's how the Jets roll.
Right now we look like a 9-7 team, but it's pretty tough to make a good prediction until after training camp. Basically it's going to come down to Sanchez -- if he elevates his play then we can make a serious run at the division, and if he implodes again then we've got no hope.
The prediction is not ridiculous. The way he wrote the article in which he essentially gives no information or insight, that is ridiculous.
8-8 is a good prediction at this point. The Jets have some holes and they're installing a new offense with a guy whose teams haven't exactly been wonderful on that side of the ball recently despite having some decent talent. With a little luck the Jets avoid major injuries and go 10-6. On the other hand a major injury on the offensive line and they could go 5-11 pretty easily.
Why is everyone so down on this team? I don't get it, I honestly think we have the potential to go 12-4 but 11-5 may be more of a safe bet.
Just the mere fact that we have a different offensive scheme is a chance to improve on last year. I cannot count how many times I Could call the play from the couch in my local bar.
Now that's the life. You're in so good at the local bar that you can move your couch in to watch Jets games on Sunday. :breakdance:
Based on what? Sort of like half the posts in this thread saying we're going 12-4? There's also a chance the offense could be worse.
I wish I was as confident as you guys. I guess the SOJ syndrome is starting to develop in my early jet fan life.
If the offense can play better than the team will be better. The defense improved personel wise, basically if Sanchez can play at maybe 140% of what he played last year and cuts down his turnovers, they could be one of the top teams in the league.
Jets go 16-0 and piss the division, mainly thanks to beastly play from "top rugby player" Hayden Aussie
John Clayton: still trying to punish the high school jocks for all of the wedgies he endured thirty years ago
Really, for once there is nothing wrong with what ESPN said there. They did go to back to back AFCC games and they did implode and go 8 and 8 last year. No telling what they will do this year until they get started.
