You don't know it didn't surt them. Who knows where they would be sitting now had they drafted Roethisberger and other players as opposed to just Eli.
that is true, but i think the fact that they're winning games and their offense is performing well can make one feel better about giving up almost as much for bush...and believe me i would not mind giving both our 1sts and the 35
That could be the draft chart they are using, but when 5 teams have interest in trading up, that ups the value. Plus there is the possibility that the Saints actually do want Bush.
do they giants seem like there hurting right now? There Future is Bright. but lets go by your view . how do we know it did hurt them? Cause i really dont hear giants fan complaining how the trade worked out.
They made the playoffs for the third time in 6 years. It's not like the Giants are a franchise in the desert at the moment. Barber and Burress had peak seasons which Barber had been building too for 3 seasons and Burress matched his great season of 3 years ago. Shockey stayed healthy and about matched his rookie season. The guy that kept the Giants down was Manning. He had below average (by passer rating) performance in 8 starts last year in the regular season and he stunk in the playoffs.
so who threw plaxico and shockey the ball? he is young he is gonna get better every day as he learns the game more. your acting like his a 3 year starter struggling in the playoffs. he never been in the playoffs before. he knows what to expect this year and should be more prepaired. What kept the giants down was injuries to the linebackers and there poor secondary.

Look at Brady vs Peyton. Peyton may be the better QB but Brady has the rings.
He has never been a high completion percentage guy, with only his sophomore season in 2001 standing out (63.5). He's never been a high YPA guy and with the exception of that sophomore year he's never been able to keep the Int's down. He was the same QB in college that he's been in the Pro's. Which is to say a serviceable QB with some upside and some flaws. That's not what you trade massive value for the way the Giants did. Now, it's possible that he'll become a Terry Bradshaw type leader and the Giants will just win year in and year out. If that happens then the trade was worth it. But I doubt it.
That isn't the actual draft chart that they use.............first pick is worth 2600, fourth is worth 1800. we'd hafta make up 800 points. dont kno where that site got their numbers form.
STAY @ 4...... We will be able to trade down...people are salivating to trade up now...WE MUST FILL ALL OF OUR HOLES IN THIS DRAFT
