Jamal Adams is going to miss playing with Alex Lewis and CJ Mosley.......not as much as he will miss playing with Marcus Maye, but still.
I was glad to see coach's comments on this situation. I too want to see Jamal go back to being happy to be a Jet. Dude has been one of the realest JETS I've ever seen. He's given the Jets EVERYTHING he has. FOR GOODNESS SAKE PAY JAMAL!!!!!!!!
LOVE to hear this! I have had the belief since Joe Douglas walked into the building that many players would be fallout under his new control. It seems Douglas is getting rid of the unnecessary noise and holding guys accountable for their actions and their play on the field. He also fully understands the value of positions and has a specific understanding of how and when players should be extended. If this filters out guys like Jamal Adams, then so be it. I do not care how good you are, if you are a "me" individual, I do not want you in the Jets locker room. Good on Joe D and Gase.
I would love for him to find a way to shut him out of all team activities. Let him die in his circle of "unnamed sources". I don't think this is possible though
You are correct that many posters are making this personal with Adams. I look at it from the extreme opposite perspective: where Adams goes, how much/how little success he has there, what the Jets get in return, how they perform without Adams, etc. --these things matter some, but they should not be the driving factor in how the front office handles this situation. However this situation plays out, the Jets will still have to field a team made up of football players. The Jets' relationship with all the players that are still here need to take priority over all these other factors. Right now, this is a franchise that been walked all over, one way or another, by Mo Wilkerson, Revis, Trumaine Johnson, and others. If this is how the Jets continue to deal with their star players, they are always going to be a joke of a franchise that invites mercenaries to come here and get paid not to play.
I hope that you're being facetious!!! What are you talking about? What do you mean by a negative percentage? There's no way that Mosley's response should be confusing. He's clearly saying that he TOTALLY agrees with Mehta, that's why he used 100000% rather than just 100%. EDIT: With the J-Raw explained it, I see the confusion. I took the "-" sign as just a formatting separator between Mosley's name and what he said, not as he was saying a negative percent.
Good question. It seems to me that the Jets could refuse to give Mehta access to the team any more and ban him from talking to Jets' players and being at Jets' facilities.
It probably wouldn't look good to some, but who cares? IMO it doesn't look any better to have a hack like that constantly taking pot shots at your organization, making shit up, and trying to stir up trouble, just to get clicks. I don't know why the Jets couldn't pull his credentials, and refuse to give him access. I wish they would. It would send a clear message to the news media to do honest reporting and not the sleazy crap they've been doing just to sell papers.
The question was does he agree with Mehta. The answer was -100000% Meaning he TOTALLY disagrees with Mehta.
