PS... if any of the thunderdome managers/scouts are watching, this is just a piece of trashtalking ability i possess
You don't think the main reason could be that McDaniel's and his offensive philosophies go together like 47 chromosomes?
Could we even have the cap space though to get him? Something tells me he has a Huge contract. Somethings very "fishy" here about Denver wanting to get rid of him.......
4 out of his last 6 games he had a QB rating of under 70. Is that a reason to trade him or even discuss trading him? NO. Cutler could be my franchise QB any time.
Ummm. yeah, Thanks. Not saying I want him at all. Id rather see what the two kids we already have can do. Im wondering though if we even have the cap space to consider this.
I think the Broncos were looking to trade Cutler because they wanted Cassel to come and play for Josh McDaniels thinking he'd succeed there since he'd be in a familar system, and they couldn't have both Cutler and Cassel. They have no reason to trade Cutler otherwise. It would be great if we got him and would really make us a team to beat, but I think with Cassel going to the Chiefs their shopping of Cutler is done.
Whoever is trading is for him is gonna make him through than extremely extensive physical and the Broncos don't wanna run the risk of trading him only to have the deal revoked and have an unhappy starting QB on the team...especially when he's viewed as a leader and could eventually turn into a locker room cancer
They're not making him available to trade. Everyone is just misinterpreting the information. The Chiefs and Patriots trade had a possible scenario where Cutler would go to KC and Cassell would go to Denver. Denver did not bring the idea up. Denver is not trying to deal Cutler.
Can a mod merge this thread with the "Jay Cutler on the block.." thread? It will make it easier for me to ignore.
Could be some truth to that rumor that Cutler's name came up in the Cassell thing. Maybe they are trying to get KC to flip Cassell to them which would make Cutler available.
He really is. Thats what makes his rivalry with Rivers so much fun. The two biggest QB Pricks in the league vs. each other twice a year. Delhomme comes in 3rd.
Your kidding right? Cutler is NOT worth a 1st round pick and especially not more. This makes no sense, this is a Mike Ditka scenario. No, No, No!!!
Who exactly at 17 is BETTER than Cutler? At least Cutler is proven...I don't even know why I'm discussing a trade that has a -100% chance of happening.
