To Be Honest, It's hard to disagree with their assessment. The past few weeks we've either had our asses handed to us or won a game (Buffalo) we had no business winning. Unless our Defense wakes up and returns to form, I've got a BAD feeling about today's game. The stars are NOT aligned in our favor....0-3 on the left coast....Holmgrens last HOME GAME....10 hours on the plane....geez
Are you trying to convince me of something? You need to understand that it is a league of parity. at 9-5 thats pretty good. This isn't college football where people get blown out every game. Point is a win is a win.
these guys just go with whoever looked best last week when making their picks for stuff like this. the jets did not look very good last week so they pick against us. if we destroy the seahawks today they will pick the jets next week.
The Jets have an identity. That identity is not typified by what happened through game 11, it's typified by what has happened since. I don't begrudge the media their biases at this point because those biases are based on the facts. What's surprising to me is that so many of the talking heads fell for the win over the Titans as evidence that the Jets had arrived. That is very atypical of them. Normally they'd have pointed at the Raider's loss and the narrow win over the Chiefs alongside the wins over the Pats and titans and basically shrugged their shoulders: who knows?
