Shonn Greene spelling Chris Johnson is a pretty good duo imo. I like our duo as well and think Ivory is a hidden beast, but the Titans have a proven combo and get the nod here. Shonn Greene makes a pretty good #2 back, fans here hate him but we all have seen what he can do in a #2 role.
Last place would be nice. Kills two birds with one stone. We clear Rex out and get to draft a franchise QB.
THE DARK KNIGHT'S POST-DRAFT POWER RANKINGS: 1. Denver Broncos 2. New England Patriots 3. Seattle Seahawks 4. Green Bay Packers 5. Indianapolis Colts 6. San Francisco 49ers 7. Atlanta Falcons 8. Baltimore Ravens 9. Houston Texans 10. New Orleans Saints 11. Chicago Bears 12. Cincinnati Bengals 13. New York Giants 14. Washington Redskins 15. Pittsburgh Steelers 16. Dallas Cowboys 17. San Diego Chargers 18. Carolina Panthers 19. Detroit Lions 20. Minnesota Vikings 21. Miami Dolphins 22. Kansas City Chiefs 23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24. Philadelphia Eagles 25. Cleveland Browns 26. NEW YORK JETS 27. St. Louis Rams 28. Tennessee Titans 29. Arizona Cardinals 30. Oakland Raiders 31. Buffalo Bills 32. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Browns have a new GM, a new head coach and the owner is in major trouble and will be distracted to the point of near absenteeism this season. They only had 5 picks in the draft this year so new GM didn't get to mold much and they picked a very challenging prospect on the 6 pick in Mingo. All the signs point to a really bad year this year.
They hated Geno smith before he was even drafted.. he bashed them on twitter and then, they wanted to act unprofessional with it and have a 52 minute rant about how "Profootball - said this, and they did say shit!" and since he went to the jets it just made it miles easier and more fun to get at us.
ESPN's updated NFL power rankings ESPN came out with their updated NFL power rankiings. The Jets ranking (32) is consistent with ESPN's having called the Jets a glorified expansion team without any dynamic skill players. Nowhere to go but up: http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2013/week/0
Excellent news for the Jets ... last year this time they had Indy at 32, and basically had the same things to say. And that was after they drafted Andrew Luck.
The odds of it alone make it baffling to me that you would even take the time to put that cute little collage together
As a fan it pisses me off to hear that ESPN is ranking us last. But at the end of the day its May 1st. We have awhile to go before we play a game of football. Also, it's pretty clear that ESPN just diminishes anything related to the Jets because its the sexy thing to do nowadays. But i hope all this hate by ESPN and many fans around the country makes this team hungrier and determined to go out there and kick some ass. I think this team has the potential to actually be pretty decent this upcoming season.
I want 16-0 or 0-16. A Jets QB to step up and lead or the 1st pick in next years draft to get a REAL QB. This prediction gives hope for one of the outcomes I like and the more realistic one.
