if that was true mark wouldn't have touched the field against the giants. but he did, so I am guessing they hadn't seen enough to say he had geno beat
Lol what? There isn't an objective football fan who didn't think Sanchez "won" the competition when Geno ran out of the back of the end zone. I love Rex but that decision was inexplicable. If Geno goes for 200 tomorrow and a TD and no turnovers then it's moot, he's the starter for the year. I'll be there cheering him on just like every QB (other than Tebow) since 1969. _
My bad, it wasn't 2:1, it was 1.8:1. I was including the post season. 2010 + post season: 25 total TDs, 14 picks, 1.8 to 1. Saying he hasn't come close is an exaggeration. He did come close that year.
Sanchez wasn't in the game because they were still deciding, he was in the game because Rex wanted to give him a cookie and have Sanchez throw for the game-winning TD against the Giants' second stringers to give him confidence and coddle the fans that never wanted to see him again after last year.
I'm expecting Smith to be down and out by the mid-second quarter with an ankle injury. Jets will be down by 10. Simms will come in and score 2 TD's. However, the D will give up 21 points by then. I have a dream... :metal:
Oh come on. I am old, so I will always love Griese (Super Bowl VIII is pretty much my first clear football memory), but who are these crazy Fin fans who don't think Marino was any good?
You get them in every fan base.... we have our share here too, some here think that Sanchez is better than Marino
